Homeostasis needs to be maintained, dietary cravings are important as long as the cravings aren't from addictions to food chemistries which alter the enzymes out of balance....then we need medicines or we need to slowly change the diet to balance things properly.
Sorry, but no... 'medicines' are not even remotely a solution here, changing the diet is the only solution. In extreme cases, drugs may serve a limited temporary purpose, but the goal should always to get off the drugs as quickly as possible.
The absolute best 'elimination diet' (eliminates all potential diet based allergens while providing everything necessary to vital health) is the carnivore diet. It's also wonderful as a permanent lifestyle, been doing it for almost a year now, feeling better every day.
But some doctors know how to tell the difference if they paid attention in College and did not attend too many frat parties.
Ummm, no, normal doctors only get a few hours of nutritional study in their entire indoctrination period, and that is based on extremely faulty data at that.

I know two doctors that have studied diet in relation to health...after they got out of medical school.
But from all my research from over a decade which is pretty metabolism oriented, I can guarantee one thing. The way to fix things is not eating over five servings of day of fruits and veggies like they are telling people. And many veggies cannot be eaten raw, there are side effects of eating some veggies raw. The nutritional consensus of the time as what is healthy is not right. Veggies have different chemistries which effect health, the right chemistry at the right time helps keep us healthy. That chemistry at the wrong time or in excess can cause health problems and that is directly related to where your ancestors came from and ancestral eating habits.
I cannot eat like my wife, she cannot eat what I need. My grandkids have a mixture of genetics, figuring out what they need to be healthy is hard, my daughters husband is from guatamala, his father was a spanish/Italian mix mostly...His dietary needs are way different than Finns.
Their kids are sick a lot.
My oldest daughter makes foods of his ancestral origin, she is always sick too. That has to do with the methyl and nitrogen cycles in the body.
Doctors do not know what I know because I have spent months studying their genetics and asking questions. But the daughter does not listen, she thinks altering a diet will give immediate results like a pill, it took years to screw things up...it will take months to get things correctly working again.

I was intending to get the JJ yesterday until I received the phone call canceling it.
All my closest family members and friends have had the jab...I'd prefer to die with them than be the sole survivor at age 62.
