What they are getting at is IF GAtes owns the land they use to produce FEED for the LIVESTOCK...What happens when he does not allow anymore people to plant any feed anymore?
Gates is not wanting to make anymore money apparently because thats one of the ways to assuage his white guilt and control the worlds population at the same time.

Gates is buying up farmland because he wants to control the food supply. The more farmland he owns the less meat we'll be eating.

He is an advocate of plant-based products, so he is profiting heavily from his investments in farmland.

Lastly, China is the #1 consumer of pork. They won't be surrendering their meat anytime soon. They've been buying up portions of the US pork industry, large-scale farms and processors like Smithfield.

The US may end up buying its own pork through China at the current rate of attrition.

I don't think it adds up, grains are easily grown in the US, Cali still gets it's water and pesticides/fertilizer is still readily available.

Brazil are still aggressively muscling into the meat packaging business in the US too.

Just because it's arable land doesn't mean it's prime farmland. Even then sustainability doesn't mean intensive farming like swathes of Cali for instance... And even then there's options upon options.

My understanding of what Bill is doing..changing how we farm. How we farm now, is terrible, the resulting food is subpar, far less nutrient value, why? the soil is dead, no soilweb going on, chemical fertilisers produce yield, but low quality.

This is going to be back to old style, more organic, about revitalising the soil, the soil web, microbe action.


That is my short take on it.

I shouldn't be calling anyone a bozo, I'm one sometimes..I just wish people would dig a bit deeper(pun intended!) that a headline.
