There are no evil alien races looking for world domination

In my very humble opinion and belief, I have to state that there aren't any alien races out there who have earth's subjugation as their goal.
It simply doesn't scan, that any race with the ability to do the things that have been attributed to them, could possibly have evil designs and intent.
I say this because if that were so, they would have already done it.
We demonstrate on a daily basis how easily we can be swayed with regards to our relations within our own species. Our media simply has to label a group one way or another and the masses lock onto that labeling with a vengeance.
We are not, all egos aside, an advanced, civilized race of beings.
We do not think as individuals and our leaders know that and use it in very Macheavelian ways.
We are a very barbarous race, whose nearly, every scientific advancement has either come to us through either military research or has been turned into a military model.
Our's is science that is used to more efficiently kill each other. And most of our scientific funding goes toward that end.
We must look, to anyone objectively observing us, like lemmings running headlong for the cliff.
We are probably that great casino in the galaxy with the ET's placing bets on what group will wipe out the next group first.
We don't learn collectively from our mistakes.
We don't seek harmony or unity.
We believe whatever we are told by our leaders, no matter how inconcieveable it is.
We are fractionalized as a species and that fractionalization is built into our cultures.
The old adage "Divide and Conquer", is lost on us.
We are nothing but divided. hence we remain half way conquered already.
If any ET race needed or wanted to conquer us it would be a slam dunk.
And I want to ask everyone, What would be wrong with a one world government? Where is the evil in that?
Do you actually live with the delusion that we are not already controlled by a very small subgroup, that is not based on nationality?
We don't celebrate diversity and tolerance, which should serve to give flavor and color to the world.
Instead we try to force everyone to be and to think and even to love as we do.
That type of thinking is what an evil Orwellian one world government is based on.
Please people, think for yourselves. Don't let the opinions of others guide your opinions.
It's OK to have the same opinion, only realize that it's OK not to have that opinion as well.
World unity and cultural tolerance is the only way to true advancement as a species.
A New world order can be a beautiful thing if we make it that way. Or it can be another road to the subjugation of the masses, if we let it be.
What is a bigger conspiracy theory? That a 6'-3" Arab living in a cave is somehow controlling world terrorism, or that aliens are visiting this planet.
Eisenhour said that we should beware of the military industrial complex.
Wars of the past decades were over after a few years. One would imagine that the lack of conflict would be bad for business.
A war on terrorism by contrast has no real defined enemy, other than the ever elusive terrorist. And it's a global event not defined necessarily by national borders. One would imagine that a conflict like this, with no definite enemy and no definite end would be good for business.
But you guys have already extrapolated this, prior to my stating it here.
Alien races are not, if they are here, out to get us.
Our own leaders and those that control them are doing a fine job of that by themselves. And those that control our leaders aren't alien. They are Corporations and those of that ilke.

Yep, i totally agree. Although you need to understand that thats not everyone. (and im sure u do.) more people than you think beleive just like you do. (me being one of them). Also, i believe that an evil race of aliens that would be willing to do that would have destroyed themselves well before they got the technology to come to other worlds, and destroy them.

Yes I agree. I hope the same doesn't happen to us. hopefully we will learn before that happens.

Haha... If there was to be some kind of war. Why would it matter what you believe as far as what we are talking about? If that happens, we will realize we are wrong, suck it up. And do whatever has to be done to survive. Personally, i say if there is one out there, they can bring it on. We have homefield advantage. And ive always wanted to die in my sleep. Or die fighting for something i feel strongly in.

I you think, thealiens must be a highly advanced race if they have built crafts that have the exterior fortitude to withstand the lightyears between these two planets, solar systems even galaxies without crumbling, stalling or malfunctioning (theres never been a stalled UFO shot from Hubble). Furthermore, a craft that can withstand a reentering of the atmosphere of earth and maneuver in such a way that defy the laws of Earth Physics( flying fullspeed, Stop, hover, Dissapear, reappear). Our civilization is still caveman era compared to them. Its like living in the most rich country in the world and pillage a dirt poor country in China. It would have no sentimental or monatar value. It would be like getting in a fist fight with a 5 year old. They have no way to fight you. You are too advanced. We are the 5 year old. They are the body builder. If they, for some reason, attacked us, we would become a giant smoldering rock.

I don't think that we are an evil race that doesn't deserve to live.
I do think that if we allow ourselves to be lead, like sheep, to the slaughter, then the slaughterhouse is what awaits us.
We don't have to allow ourselves to be herded like those proverbial sheep.
We can choose to walk the other way.

While I do believe that there is other intelligent life in the universe, I also believe that none of it has ever been within light years of Earth. Any species that had space travel capability is more advanced in technology than we are, obviously. If such a species were to come across Earth, I think one of three things would happen.

1) They'd kill us all and take our planetary resources, in which case we'd all know about it already (or not, being dead)
2) They'd be peaceful and try to communicate with us, in which case we'd all know about it already.
3) They'd ignore us completely for any number of reasons, in which case we would never see them. (except for maybe when they fly by, look down at Earth, see nothing of interest, and leave)

IMO
If there were to be Aliens interested in Earth how would we know their intentions? Perhaps they have to wait until the Earth suits them before killing us all? Maybe there isn't enough CO2 in out air for them to live here. Perhaps they have taken over certain governments in order to alter the environment.


...Or there is the idea that they are here to reproduce not to take over at all.
Actually I have been reading this board for a few months now and I have not seen many conspiracy theories that Aliens will take over the world. I don't think many people here are actually worried about that.


Really for us to assume anything of an Alien race doesn't mean anything. They are alien. It doesn't mean anything for us assume our Human attributes on them. What evidence do we have of their motives?

The evidence we do have is that there is secrecy. There are cover ups. There are millions of UFO sightings. There are thousands of reported abductions.
Those are not delusions or fantasies, these are facts. I do prefer to have a objective mindset. When I see something that sounds or looks false I try to debunk it. There are many, many things on this board that can not be debunked.

People immigrating into the United States illegally are considered "aliens".

Therefore we should treat them as aliens like the way we should expect to treat aliens from outer space: awe and fear.
