I guess some people cannot handle the truth, and what lead to many a murder of an innocent person. Nazi Germany believed the world would be a better place without the Jews. Is that false. How does “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” not apply.

Bottom line. “Kindness” often has dire unintended consequences. Which does happen. Is that false. Thus the term the road to hell is often paved with good intentions. Or it is somethings kinder to be cruel. Such as ripping a bandaid off vs trying to pull a bandaid off gently by going slow. I am sure I can bring up some examples of amputations by old school surgical saws if you like? From around the era of the civil war?

And how is “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” any more of a cliche than the opening post in a modern world where actual freedom of movement is based off a virus.

So. Lockdowns where not a road to “human rights hell” based on good intentions?

Do you really think meditation and self centering is going to change the outcome of People's reality? No, it's a good intended effort to do so, but it's only a temporary effort. Sometimes good intentions can still lead to disaster.

Meditation is a good tool for internal focusing and shutting out external stimulus...but, whether you come to the realization that you must dedicate your life to helping the less fortunate...or invading Poland...depends on the person you are.

Yes. I think changing your mindset and being positive will certainly alter your engagement with everyone else around you. If you are a negative person you tend to behave/act negatively which impacts every aspect of your life.
