Uranus is emitting Xrays and Scientists want to take a closer look!

Strange emissions from Uranus

Astronomers looked at snapshots of the planet taken by NASA's Chandra Observatory in 2002 and 2017, noticing a clear detection of X-rays in the first observation and a possible flare in the second.

It seems there are still as yet discoveries to be made in regards to Uranus, and anytime some new emission is found to be emanating from there, it certainly makes a stink in the scientific community.

If further observations confirm this, it could have intriguing implications for understanding Uranus

The more we learn about Uranus, the more we in turn learn about ourselves. Hopefully soon we can send a probe into Uranus to really get a feel for what makes it tick.

The radiation from my rectum is none of their concern.

A Uranus thread without a butt joke is like Jeff Dunham without his puppets.

...pinched off part of the planet's atmosphere, sending it out into space.

Uranus is probably full of this ... Good to know, I guess!

Well, at least there are no x rays going into Uranus. Sorry, couldn't resist....

Having worked with more than a few scientists, i would be willing to bet money the Uranus jokes got so bad while writing the paper, someone probably had to step in an institute a no more uranus jokes rule...which probably lasted about a day until the person who made the rule broke it.

Get a bidet, dammit!

(I posted this earlier but since my OP was, apparently, too concise, the thread was removed. No offense to the moderator.)

X'rays do not come from myanus, they come from Uranus. Nobody can blame that energy burst on me.

We need volunteers for the first mission to Uranus. Need to grab samples.

Wait, I heard rumors this wouldn't be the first man in Uranus.
