The world needs to abandon ethanol. It's wasting arable land that could be used to grow food for humans and our livestock instead of continuing to use it as a totally subsidy supported racket in the name of a total sham (climate change.)

I’m also going to be trying some powdered fish pemmican in the next day or so...some cod...haddock...and maybe some salmon...I think I’ll forego the sweet of the fruit and honey and just use ground mixed nuts and some savory spices for the fish...

Can't say for this powdered thing you're talking about, but I put up salmon jerky every summer using a combination of the smoker and then the dehydrator and some sweetness goes extremely well with salmon. My dry brine is equal parts brown sugar and salt (with black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne to taste.) The end result is what's long been called "Salmon candy" up here in Alaska.

Chinas own darn fault. They breed like rabbits over there. Maybe they should learn how to farm the land they are buying up in Africa. Maybe learn to grow feed in their own country. Yeah I get their growing seasons are not the greatest, but still, live within your means.

Secondly We grow more food than we know what to do with, if it weren’t for the money grubbing investors we wouldn’t ever need to worry.

I totally agree 100%. The field corn that’s grown is GMO inedible for human consumption.

Ohh and the farmers that get the subsidy’s bitch and complain about welfare money going to the poor. Hypocrites.

Bee population decline

Enthanol corn production

Coincidence?

The amount of pesticides and Fungicides dumped on feild corn and soybeans is unbelievable, there is a study that shows Fungicides have decimated the honey bees, and a lot of bug species.

This next corn season, go find a crop duster outfit in Indiana or Illinois, look at the amount of chemicals that the airplanes spray out.

Well that confused me. Are you saying that mass production of corn is part of the bee decline, or are you saying that a bi-product of the ethanol production is killing the bees?

That's an interesting connection or a very convenient coincidence.

Corn grown for ethanol production is not edible for humans.

Ummm...the beef pemmican I made is like eating a candy bar except without the cloying over sweetness...just enough honey with the fruit but not enough you can’t taste the nuts and beef...you can use virtually any red meat...
Pemmican is attributed to the Cree tribe and was used extensively by trappers and traders...as well as armies...as a survival food...it’s been called a superfood as well because of it’s dense nutritional value...by adding the rendered beef fat...(venison...elk...moose...etc)...pemmican can be stored unrefrigerated in an airtight container for years and even decades...or so I’ve read...

I think I’ll try that salmon candy with some of the salmon I’ve got stored...

Thanks man...

These dummies by me actually think they are spraying SEED from those planes. What is even more unbelievable is those “seeds” magically desiccate the crops overnight... There is a lot of willful ignorance going on. People just do not want to accept how much we are being poisoned.

Hey yousir, did you find plans for the dome online?
Would love to se pics of your setup!

I've been storing up as much as I can. Limited funds and space but I'm trying. Hopefully we'll survive and thrive, maybe a little leaner.

Well, as long as I'm here.

Revelation 6.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

If I'm right about the Apocalypse happening around 2000 years after the death of John the Baptist then the surge in food prices could very well be biblical. Not to mention that date and the 80th year of Israeli independence appear to be linked.

And then there's me........

Darn you are good, we are feed soo much in this country with all the food supplies and fast food pick up deliveries than nobody would even imagine a time when food will no be available.

On the funny side, hey I know lots of people that going on a hungry diet will actually do a lot of good, after all America have now like what 90% obesity rate this days?

Will people become cannibals? or eat their pets first.

On a serious note, I think I will be building my supplies too.

Don't worry.
This is all a part of China's "peaceful rise to power".

Actually I think China is in dire straits recently.

They had like biblical floods that hit their bread basket of farm areas, If their major damn actually broke about 200 million would have died...

Then they had 100,000,000,000,000,000 Locus come their way...yes that is 100 trillion... So think about 100,000 sq miles in China getting eaten up around June this year.

So how do you feed 1.4 million? Maybe buy up the world supple of food before the big one hits.

We are down to fifty pounds of flour, I think we should maybe get another ten five pounds bags in stock, we got room in the pantry and it has all been rotated properly and is less than six months old. Also, I guess I should plant more potatoes for next winter, we usually keep at least fifty pounds in stock but the deer eat most of those, I bet we go through twenty pounds of potatoes and five pounds of carrots a week feeding the deer. But they are our homeless friends, we have to feed the homeless. They do mow the grass in the summer and fertilize the lawn. Does that mean I own slaves?

Ever thought about white rice? Can last 20 years if stored in a cool dry place. If you bought 10 50 lbs bags that would cost about 500 bucks. 500 lbs would make 1250 lbs of cook rice. That comes out to 2750 cups of cook rice...lol

Fam of 4 getting 2 cups a day would be a year worth of rice.

We stock about twenty pounds of rice. I suppose we could increase that if we got another ten bags of Sue Mings Generals Chicken to go with it. We like rice pudding and rice in chicken soup but other than that, we just eat it with Chinese. I would much rather eat spuds.
