Found this on another forum and thought I would share. If you are a veteran or transitioning service member you may want to look into this one. I have no experience with it personally but it would appear to be an outstanding opportunity.

What does the MSSA program cover?
MSSA provides 16-17 weeks of online training for high-demand careers in cloud development or cloud administration. MSSA also offers a Tech Transition Toolkit with simple tips for how you can build a career in technology, including how to create a strong resume, learn “tech lingo” to sound like a pro, set up your virtual workspace, use your virtual professional network to your advantage, and learn lessons from MSSA graduates.

Who is eligible and what does it cost?
MSSA is free to the military and Veteran community, including transitioning service members.

Thanks,
I'm retiring next month.
I'm already proficient in Office stuff, but I can definitely use this to my advantage.

That is amazing, the only transition training I had was a website that you put your mos/job into and it translated it into a civilian career path. When I did that it pulled up national guard jobs.......

A lot of people getting out of the military don’t realize how hard that transition can be.

Thank you for sharing this.

Yeah, they've gotten much better with setting folks up for success since I've been in.

We still need to do a better job of getting people ready to transition out.
But I've been fortunate to have been able to focus on myself since November.

So the “conspiracy” site members (veterans) are going to ignore “Microsoft” because of “free” training?

Bill gates is a good guy, Satya Nadella isn’t shady at all.........

When did the non liberals of this site begin getting “woooo hooo “ for free stuff?

I’m boycotting droid , and Apple and everything else......

If “they” are going to censor me....... I’m not paying “them” didley.......

I’m going back to analog everything soon . ✌🏼

That's all fine and dandy.

But in the really real world where people need to make money to eat and stuff. Knowing how to use Microsoft products is a useful skill.

Do I ? What “training” does one need for any Microsoft platform? its easier than ordering a pizza, or taking out the trash..... it is 2021 lol

If you can’t use basic computer skills, then my user name isn’t the issue.

Thank you all for your service. Honestly; but please for the love of (whatever god) do not support these companies that rape us daily....

They don’t need or want your support, they only offer it to keep you “cool beans” to the plan at hand.

Which is whatever they deem fit, while you struggle to provide and “make money to eat and stuff”.......

You’re better than that, be the change you want to see in the world, don’t just “go with the flow”!

I may not be a pro but I know words?

Bill Gates. The debble hisself. Acquiring minions. Dispensing vaccines.

It’s not like we would be sitting down with bill gates himself giving him a lewinsky treatment and all that. Microsoft is one of the largest of not largest tech platforms on planet earth so some of that Shiite would be good knowledge to have.

I use those skills every day. Do take advantage of it if you can. It will be worth your time in the long run if you work in the industry at all.

my problem is i hate windows and use linux on my computers.

then again C programing has always been free for linux.
www.google.com...

where C++ programing for windows is a lot harder to learn and a pain.

C++ is a high level language. Learn one, learn them all. In a day or two. Assemblers are another matter.
I find VB quite useful and I like it because I hate case sensitive languages. That's just a stupid thing.

C#, VB, C++ are all free.
visualstudio.microsoft.com...

But Microsoft is out for world domination. No doubt. So don't use it. Apple is much better. But Microsoft will let you program for Apple. Whaaaatttt?

In any case, it doesn't seem this has much to do with learning programming.
