Many people are getting it because they're afraid to get sick and believe they have to get it. Others are afraid of the possible side effects and won't get it. I'm of the opinion that once you get Covid, you're immune to it. I had it a year ago and was on the front lines ever since and never got it again. You won't get better immunity from the vaccine so its useless to me. Useless to anyone that's had it. And if you study what the vaccine does, there are potential side effects.
And if after a year they keep going back and admitting that they were wrong about this and wrong about that and this didn't work but this did and they said it didn't and they still don't know what it does, then wait until they come out and say " We screwed up, it is potentially dangerous." It will be too late. That and Fauci is pushing the vaccine but he's the SOB that worked with the lab that released the damn virus. That's like Osama Bin Laden offering insights on how 9/11 could have been prevented.

But in my opinion if your dumb enough to get this Vaccine , A Vaccine that was rushed out in six months a vaccine that the Medical world could not seem to master for the past several decades but they have miraculously made it work for this particular situation .

You clearly know nothing about how mrna vaccines work. It wasn't created as a brand new thing from the ground up. Think more like putting a new engine in a car, rather than inventing the car.

If you're dumb enough not to take it while millions and millions of people do (and are unaffected other than a sore arm, like me) then that's on you - but just know you're a part of a movement which has existed in one way or another throughout history, and it never ends well for you.

I'll be honest.

I'm getting mine.

It's not because I want it. Truthfully, I don't necessarily, but I am for two reasons:

1. I am pretty sure my job will eventually get around to requiring it for those of us who have to work in-house. Kansas just isn't that far along in its vaccine process yet.

2. I'll admit that I'm broken. I really, really want to keep up with my fitness and tae kwon do. I really like it, but doing it and wearing that mask has sucked all the joy out. Between the asthma and the claustrophobia, anything that makes me breathe moderately hard provokes a micro-panic attack. My brain interprets the mask as asthma and reacts accordingly, and then that hot, sweaty mask sucked up against my face triggers the claustrophobic response of smothering making it all that much worse. I end up hyperventilating and fighting myself to breathe when I shouldn't be. After months of this, I AM DONE. It's not something I am getting desensitized to, and I'm not adapting to it either. And I won't quit, but I so want to enjoy what I'm doing again.

So, at this point, I'll do just about anything to get that damn thing off my face.

And I get mine first thing tomorrow morning. If it kills me, at least I'll have a lot less to worry about. And if it sterilizes me ... well, I'm too old to have kids anyways.

Feel free to do whatever you want, but you should do something to make others aware that you aren't vaccinated so that the can choose whether or not they want to be near you.

Your freedom to choose mustn't impinge on other people's freedom to choose.

At least wear an anti vax t-shirt or something so that people have this information too.

I don't want to, and people who aren't vaccinated aren't lepers. If you get vaccinated, then they shouldn't bother you at all. Right?

If you get it, then maybe you can get sick, but your shot should make sure that you don't get deathly ill even if you do get mild symptoms.

What on earth? How does my choice to get the shot or not change your decision? It doesn't. You can still get the shot regardless of my choice, and if you get the shot, you are protected even if I don't. You are operating off classic collective mentality - I can't be saved unless *all* are saved - and from that perspective you seek to compel everyone to do as you would have us do so that you can feel saved.
