This is a definite and real hostile destabilization attempt against America straight out of the Marxist playbook, because it is being allowed.
This makes Portland officials criminal felons by proxy under the US Constitution. They just haven't been prosecuted and punished yet.

Why am I not surprised. Look at this video of a Portland riot last night. It's almost as though Police aren't allowed to arrest Antifa? If I didn't know better I would think it's as though they want to encourage Antifa to terrorize the law abiding citizens? But if you are a Trump supporter who does 1 tenth as much, they will search under every stone at any expense. Then persecute to the fullest extent of the law. Looks like the NWO is trying it's best to destabilize the United States to me. We need a government reset If you ask me. Not a global one.

Okay so I have some insight here.

As the local forum Left Wing "radical" that I am I'll give you my opinion and perspective.

In January I took a trip to Portland, visiting and meeting my girlfriends father. I was there for 3 days.

It was a very interesting experience. The place looked like a warzone.. after the war has ended.. and peace was sprouting.

Portland is the most odd place I've ever been. Walking through the streets, every person you encounter was an artist, a social media influencer, a designer, a traveling merchant, a small business owner, a model, or homeless.

There's hardly any chain stores or restaurants compares to other big cities. Everythingnis home grown and local. It's super cool.

Every however.. when you pass by seems like they're all a part of some secret club.

It is without a doubt the most liberal place I've ever been. Every business, restaurant, and store has BLM stickers in the windows.

Every block is covered in Black Lives Matter art and murals.

The whole city is essentially one giant public art, social art experience.

The reason IMO why ANTIFA seems to get a free pass in Portland..

Because after my experience... Literally everyone as far as the eye can see, is down for the cause. There is no opposition. The police, the garbage men, the homeless, the bankers.. everyone seems to be bleeding blue.

Hard for the cops and government to oppose the will of the people.

Not for a while. First they have to make sure anyone in uniform with even the slightest conservative views has been purged or relegated to latrine cleaning duties back on base.

Maybe, just maybe, they know what happens to those businesses that don’t have the pro BLM stickers and posters prominently displayed.

At least they'd get a decent meal...

What you’re describing and what’s being reported HERE doesn’t match up.

An independent journalist following demonstrators said everyone on Northwest Marshall Street between 13th and 14th avenues was told to sit down and stay put so they could be investigated for criminal activity. Police said people within the perimeter who did not comply with commands would be subject to tear gas and crowd control weapons.

I left the kettle because a protester started yelling at me. Police demanded my name and birthdate, wrote it on a piece of duct tape and gave it to me to put on my chest. Then they photographed me without my mask on. Here’s a photo of the officer taking my photo.

Around 1:30 a.m. the clash between law enforcement with people in the streets dwindled down as crowds dispersed and officers left. Police said several arrests were made, but have not released details at this time.

I think i would be awfully poetic if the building came alive and burned THEM, too. ALL of them.

But this isn't some weird foreign cartoon, we won't get that lucky.

Gotta admit, this sounds like a living hell no matter how much make-up and lipstick you plaster on the ideological Sandra Bernhard here. Also, DB works there daily, you just visited as a day trip tourist. Of COURSE the best fake face & lip service was put forward, ya dolt, lol.
I implicitly trust DB's "I Am Literally A Local" assessment over a tourist's any. day. His take is much more realistic, and shows this crap impacts far more than aimless, dead-end life 20-somethings causing the problems to begin with.

Eh, while we're on it, let's shrink you're bubble a bit more.
I bet the majority of those stickers & "support" don't have jack # to do with support, but deflecting suspicion so hey don't have their # stolen and torched anymore. I say this, because in Grand Rapids, despite toeing juuuuuust enough of a line to keep BLM & Antifa supporters stupid, distracted and half-up to speed, visible support isn't support, it's cheap anti-terrorist insurance against being looted, torched & ultimately ruined. The mouthy 20-somethings that think they're changing the world, are not, and are still too smug to see the public isn't happily eating their seaming pile of # anymore. They are being down-low treated as stupid & short-sighted as they present themselves (which isn't hard, I admit)

The police are absolutely told to stand down.
You will see them watching on the sidelines.

Anitfa and BLM are the boots on the ground for the Democrats.

It's getting scary at the lengths the media and Democrats work together to hide the truths.

Covid is sky rocketing. But we don't see the daily numbers and deaths like we use to.

The Democrats have the power to lie, they can literally report the exact opposite of what is happening in reality and get away with it.

They can send the Democrat controlled FBI to investigate anyone at a trump rally. And they all not let FBI do anything about antifa or BLM.
In fact they have the power to lie and force FBI representatives to state things like anitfa is not a problem and domestic terrorism is more of a threat.

Scary times

The Democrats see themselves as saviors of the West. That they are on the correct side of history. Little do they know, they are goosestepping in ideology with the likes of Hitler, Saddam as well as too many to list.

History will not remember these people kindly; save we last long enough to have people know of said history.

That's pretty spot on!

A lot of people who haven't been to Portland wouldn't understand. The will of the city is, for the most part, being done.

There are many contradictions in Portland. The blue vs. red narrative doesn't fully capture it.

A few months ago I was talking with an openly gay man, with blue coloring in his hair, who was explaining to me that he owns a gun, and if any of these looters comes near his home, he's going to shoot them in cold blood.

It isn't deemed an "insurrection." Nope. That would be illegal. It was deemed a "protest". A protest in which a building which had people inside was set afire. I would call this more than an 'insurrection'. I would call it attempted murder.

There were no arrests. Not for lack of valid perpetrators. Hell, they were everywhere. Just pick one.

Is a way to end all this people of Portland get out and vote the communist out of the local government, in one more year you can do this.

Antifa is a terrorist organization, time for the citizens to take matters in their own hands.

What bugs me is that, well.... we live in the 21st century, right?

Digital cameras are a thing. Digital cameras are cheap. They should be able to put high resolution video on the entire crowd, focusing especially on areas near enough to start a fire.

There is no reason they couldn't surgically arrest exactly the person or persons who started the fire (especially since they will likely have some kind of residue on their hands.)

I think most of the protesters would really like for that to happen, and would be happy to help. The antifa agents number only about 100, or maybe 200 in total.

But protesting is kind of a city pass time in Portland. People like to join in, so they can make friends, and talk about the event later on with family and co-workers. It's been this way for years, with minimal or almost zero violence. But 100 trouble makers showed up last Summer, and nobody is willing to take up the challenge to deal with them.

Agree. In my 63 years, I have participated in dozens of protests. I cannot recall any that morphed into violence against people; I can recall only two that morphed into violence against property, and at that it was only a fringe of the main protest.

It is my sense of things that Antifa likes to insert themselves in an otherwise peaceful protest and paint the entire thing as violent by their participation. It's not a new tactic. Other times, violent groups appear to align themselves with antifa.

What needs to change is that some (primarily left-leaning) cities shelter and camouflage these violent groups. Violence is violence and it should not be catered to. Protest itself is inherently to the American process and a right and privilege.
