She "married" into a "royal family", (personally as an American. I don't get that "royal"/My Sovereign stuff). ... But I get the jist of it. She only had one job!... Be "royal" and fallow the "STANDARD". They welcomed her into the family. Which doesn't seem a bit "RACIST" to me.

Honestly, If you're an American?..(Doesn't matter your color),... and you marry outside of your country/nationality? Yeah. ... It is sad that Harry got sucked into her/that!

Bastion had the "Royal Flag" flying over "post"! As an American, I didn't even recognize it. I had to ask a Brit what it meant.

The only thing that makes the "Royal Family", ..."Royal"?... Is a "law"! And "laws", come and go. ..Apparently?, Much like our C.O.T.U.S..

Sad thing is? As an American?..I'm on the "Royal Family" side!... I bit my tongue saying that!

The word "racist", has been used so wrongly, so many times. That it just doesn't have the same effect!... Even when used by an "American" that became a "Duchess".., (which by American "Law", is against the "Law")..

No they do tend to end badly that’s for sure. Pretty damning indictment you could use in a debate against someone subscribing to these ideas.

But this idea largely died off outside of weird places like Lebanon and Spain.

If death toll was the reason to ban an ideology there would be very few left.

Communism is a fairly destructive ideology. Led to the death of over a hundred million people. There are still communist countries out there. People aren’t exactly living in opulent luxury in China and North Korea.

Islamism isn’t great. Saudi Arabia is a horribly oppressive hellhole. Iran isn’t much better. Pakistan burns people alive as a punishment. Mauritania still has legal slavery.

What about American-European “Democracy”? How many people has that killed over the past 20 years through endless wars and occupations alone? A fair few. Hundreds of thousands in Iraq by itself. Not to mention all the proxy wars they’ve started as of late. Ask Syria & Libya what they think about western benevolence.

Could extend it to religion. How many people have been killed in the name of various faiths across the world? There isn’t an organised temple out there that doesn’t have blood on it’s hands.

Using that logic we have to go back to pre-civilized tribes. Sure people got clubbed to death on occasion, but as a system it killed way less people than any other.

Many people who watched this interview last night audibly gasped at the revelations.

Using logic Ohanka democracy to date is the best from of government we have devised.

And even then that turns out to be a prison where one cannot see the bars.

That being said the UK is not a true democracy but a parliamentary democracy under a constitutional monarchy in which the monarch, currently Queen Elizabeth II, is the head of state.

On June 19, 1917, in to the third year of World War I King George V ordered the British royal family to dispense with the use of German titles and surnames.

Changing the surname of his own family, the decidedly Germanic Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, to Windsor.

Regarding Archie not being made a "Prince," this is the law of the land, not an arbitrary decision on anyone's part. And certainly not, as Meghan believes, based on Archie's Black heritage.

When/if Charles becomes king, then Archie will formally be "Prince." Regardless of Archie's Black heritage.

Speaking as a Scotsman, not one iota. I'd rather see them sacked off and have more revenue made from opening their stately homes wide open and showing everything. The Royal Bed Chamber, The Royal Wardrobe, The Royal $hitter.

The figurehead part is mostly by design, old queenie has a lot of power and steps in when she feels the need. I believe she has to authorise new laws or some such.

I'm glad to see you post this, I actually appreciate the opinion of those foreign to our shores, unlike a few I've debated with on here about U.S matters, it does help to get a more complete picture

I am of the age where i was a young girl when Diana married Charles and have followed the going on's for years. I have read many many biographies and watched countless documentaries and can offer my opinion as follows-

* Archie was never going to be a prince/princess/duke etc until the current queen dies and his grandfather Charles becomes King. Williams children automatically are give these titles as they are the children of a future King. It would then be Megan and Harry's choice as to whether they accepted the title for their son. Note - Anne chose for her children not to have a title.

* I find it very hard to believe that Megan never googled or researched the family. Please .... these days even your average Joe googles someone they are dating to see if the words 'serial killer' pop up.

*What was the context of the conversation where the issue of 'colour' of the unborn baby was raised? Without the tone and context of the conversation being known how can anyone make a judgement? how often have you had a conversation with someone pregnant and said 'I wonder what colour hair, eyes etc' the baby will have? "I wonder if they will look more like mum or dad"?. Would the question of the babies skin colour be as offensive as if they said 'i wonder if it will have ginger hair'? as Harry does.

*Having read over 20 books on Diana and lived through her era, i am shocked and stunned by how much Megan said her experience was a mirror image of Diana's life. About the only thing she didnt mention was that she had an eating disorder.

My thoughts are that Megan is was very use to being a 'celebrity'. Once she entered the family she was competing with a family full of celebrities so to speak. However, she was never going to be bigger than the Queen, Charles, William and Kate who all outranked her. I found it funny how she mentioned that she had to curtsey to the Queen in private and said she thought she would only have to do this in public. Even the Queens children have to do this when first entering a room where the Queen is. Everyone does. I think she struggled with the fact that she also had to do this to everyone above her ... such as the Queen, Charles, CAMILLA, William, KATE, George, Charlotte and Louis. I dont think Megan is the type to curtsy to anyone and would have really struggled with this.

I think Megan is a classic narcissist who has manipulated Harry using the perfect 'triggers'. I have heard many American commentators say how proud Diana would be. They clearly have no idea. Diana in my opinion would be turning in her grave. Diana was born an aristocrat and had the highest respect for the monarchy and the system. In her own words she said she would do everything possible to continue the whole charade as her own first born son was born a future King. She said why would she deliberately try to sabotage her sons future right to take the throne? With this interview, Megan and Harry have really jeopardised the future of the monarchy especially in all the Commonwealth countries. By turning it into a circus it increases the chances of Commonwealth countries holding referendums to break away and become republics however i dont see any doing this until the death of the Queen.

Many are comparing this interview to the Panorama interview that Diana did. Diana in fact many times expressed her regret at ever doing that interview. Mehan wont regret it but one day Harry will wake up and think my god what have i done.

To me it all boils down to a very strong narcissistic person marrying into the a family with many rules and regulations all in place to protect the relevance of the throne and the monarch. Over the last 100 years most of the monarchs throughout Europe have collapsed or become minor roles. This current Queen has fought for years to prevent this happening to this royal family.

I think Megan thinks if she moved back to America, her and Harry along with their children will be 'American royalty' and top of their own little monarchy. Thereby giving her top billing and all will curtsy to her.

While the Queen may be head of the Monarchy, it is no secret that Prince Phillip is head of the family. He would be laying in hospital absolutely filthy. I would bet a hundred bucks they both have already have had a phone call from him blasting the # out of them. Which is exactly what he did to Charles Diana and Sarah when they too caused embarrassment.
