An Ohio mother charged with murdering her son tried to abandon him in a wildlife area last week and ran over him when he tried to get back into the car, court documents state, according to a report Monday.

Brittany Gosney, 29, then drove to the Ohio River where she disposed of her son's body, police said.

Gosney reported James Robert Hutchinson missing on Sunday morning, but police said she later confessed to the killing and showed little remorse, according to FOX 19 of Cincinnati.

This saddens, disgusts and infuriates all at the same time. What kind of monster do you have to be to do something like this ? I know they'll get life in prison and they are not kind to child abusers and I hope the rest of their lives are spent in constant misery, but that's too easy.
Take them out and run over them, like she did to this child and just watch them slowly die. Bury them in an unmarked grave and erase them from history. A bullet is too kind. Let them suffer.

I was going to attempt to write something profound and in insightful. Words literally fail me. There are truly monsters that live among us. Some kids have virtually no chance in this present world. Makes me want hug my three children tighter.

I have noticed several sick incidents have been going on since the government figured out how to imprison us in our own homes and communities. It just isn't natural and it's going to wreck havoc on many people especially those who have lost every damn thing they have thanks to the killing of our economy. Humans are not wired to behave in the manner that this tyrannical farce has imposed upon us.

I'm so glad you said this... I've been wondering the same. People who are already walking a thin line are going to be pushed right over that line. Not everyone has the mental and/or emotional capacity to cope with the circumstances and conditions being imposed on society. And we're just hearing the absolute worst of it.

The saddest part of it all is that those demanding all these Draconian measures to protect themselves really don't give a crap about anyone else, or the damage they cause to others. They are either too weak-willed and afraid of their own shadow to take responsibility for themselves... or they actually enjoy the tyranny wielded over the weaker.

Either way, the law of unintended consequences will have its way. And the only thing we can be certain of is that this is just the tip of the iceberg. The repercussions will be with us a very very long time.

Maybe. Given the reputation and history of the child protective services, we cannot be sure about that. They may have been taken from the fire and just dumped in the frying pan.

Yeah, I just saw where another woman stood by and let her boyfriend beat her 6 year old to death.

What the hell is wrong with people today? I'm sure the lockdown isn't helping, but even before, there sure seems to be a problem with the mental health of 20-30, and even more so with teenagers. (obviously not all, but it seems more than a few)

I can't even fathom being able to hurt, or to watch a child being hurt, and having no urge to stop it. I worry some people are loosing their compassion/humanity.

Even IF this type of thing is happening more now than it did in the past, that's most likely simply because there are more people now. As overall population grows, so does the population of the demented. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the lockdowns/pandemic.

Unfortunately, some people simply weren't made to be parents. Kids require a level of commitment, finances, and temperament that many people do not have. If someone is already mentally unstable, on drugs, etc a typical six year old can certainly cause them to snap.

This is just horrific. I cannot imagine how a parent could do something so callous.

I'm a bit surprised that she did that while the other 2 kids were in the car with her. I'm curious whether or not they tried to stop her.

Birk said the family's two other children were inside of the car with Gosney during the incident.

There are some truly sick monsters that live among us, some humans never fail to terrify me sometimes. I just cannot fathom the mindset of some.

Why do you 'seriously doubt' it has anything to do with lockdowns? Do you just mean this case or every case of violence emerging these days?

I have incredible confidence a lot of violent behaviour towards those that live together has very much to do with lockdowns.
No, not all of them, people were clearly always nasty but if there is a sudden rise, which there is, especially in domestic violence and homicide [and a massive spike in suicides] since the lockdowns, only someone who loves the lockdowns so much would defend them and say 'nothing to see here'.

Cause and effect. Lockdowns and families stuck together without escape will inevitably lead to more problems, hatred, violence and death. To deny this is to deny nature.

Awful crimes against humanity are nothing new. They have always been prevalent. Middletown is a city hit hard in the rust belt from misplaced jobs. They’ve been struggling with personal crisis for a long time. Stuck between Dayton and Cincinnati, Middletown is a city that’s been riddled with drugs and human trafficking for decades. The pandemic had nothing to do with this other than being just another problem people aren’t equipped to deal with brought to you by are piss poor government for actions and decisions made well before the pandemic hit.

I’m not making excuses for this sadistic twit and her junky boyfriend. I hope they both rot in hell, the lost child is in a better place, and his two siblings are able to find peace in their lives. The pain and anguish they’re going to endure is unthinkable. But the pandemic isn’t to blame in this.
