There's not a single career politician out there that can be trusted. They remind me of the WWF. Acting enemies when the camera is on, but having dinner and drinks afterwards and laughing and carrying on.

So why do people keep thinking there is a difference between the two parties?

Why would a libertarian politician be any different?

Does anyone really care what a prostitute's political affiliation is when you're hiring her?

There are differences between the two parties. They share many common traits, unflattering ones at that, but there are also areas where their policies diverge. They may use similar tactics to achieve those policy goals, but the core beliefs are different. You can count on dems to lean toward abortion and reps to lean toward choice for example.

That doesn't mean I trust either of them with my money or that I believe they are all about the country and not about themselves. They are all selfish and power hungry, answering to the sound of cash registers more than anything else.

He also says “I like Joe Biden...” so his discernment CLEARLY cannot be trusted. He needs to go.

As was pointed out on the first page, Lindsey is no more trustworthy than any other career politician, but I think his statement confirms what we all knew before the election, Joe is just a prop for the Democratic party.

How many of us here on ATS said Biden would not be in charge?

I think every single conservative thinker did.

We all said he was too old, too unable to speak off the cuff to be able to do the job.

We all said he was run by an unelected cabal who was propping him up.

Anyone with an ounce of brain power had to see it.

But that is what the Democrats voted for - a secret unelected cabal running the nation - using Biden as their puppet. If that is what they voted for then we have to accept the secret unelected cabal who are running the nation as what Biden supporters wanted and hoped for when they voted for Biden.

For #1, they aren't entrenched in the swamp. The average Congressperson/Senator arrives as a middle to upper middle class person and within a couple of terms becomes a millionaire, and within a few more terms a multi-millionaire on an upper middle class salary while maintaining 2 residences. How does that happen?????? And no one every questions it???? Becoming a swamp dweller is addictive and lucrative so they sell their souls to their donors and party in exchange.

For #2 both sides of the aisle and the media would hate, despise, ridicule and try and destroy a libertarian politician from the day he/she won the election. They would spend the next 4 years digging up dirt on his/her family and self and do all they could to destroy and get rid of him/her. Because they don't owe the swamp, big tech, big corporations, wall street anything. A libertarian President would have a more difficult time than Trump did.

For #3 libertarians believe in the smallest, least intrusive government possible, something career politicians loathe and feel is dangerous to their careers and their families who make money off their careers. Democrats would think this is dangerous to the nation as they believe in the biggest most intrusive government possible to help the peon masses live their lives as they should, according to the rich and powerful who control the nation.

For #4 libertarians believe in live and let live as long as what you do harms no one else or the property of others. That would mean massive deregulation which is the life blood of elite politicians control over the smallest possible detail of the lives of their peon masses. The Democratic Party thinks the peon masses are too stupid not to be told what to do by the well educated and paternal liberals.

A libertarian would never be allowed to become President by the political parties and the mainstream media.

Time magazine clearly outlined with glee and bragged how the Democratic Party has perfected the method of winning elections in perpetuity.

So no worries, there will be more jolly fools like Biden as puppets for the Democratic Party Secret Cabal.

No other party will ever again will the election in the USA, not as long as the Democrats have any say.

Just read the article by Time and see for yourself, keeping in mind Time magazine is a left leaning publication and bragging about how the Democrats can never ever lose to anyone ever again. time.com...

This article by Time must send a thrill down the legs of all the anchors at MCNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, and NY Times! Ultimate control over the peon masses forever by big tech, big media, Hollywood mental giants, well educated uber rich politicians.

Because there IS a difference, albeit a very slight razor thin one. Career democrats and career republicans have different ideals, but are common in the fact that they're in it for themselves. Republicans, however, seem to have no problem sucking democrats off if they can find something to their benefit in doing it, regardless of what becomes of their (former) supporters.

The differences, once you dig in, are minor. What they both do unequivocally is erode our rights, spend unceasingly and push towards ideological totalitarianism.

Correct, because in the end, Lindsay Graham, Mitch McConnell, et. al. will cave and give in to the democrats if they're offered something beneficial for themselves in return.

The Democrats, when not in power, will do the same thing. They call it compromising but it's really just selling us down the river.

I prefer when there's gridlock and nothing gets done or passed, at least it slows the destruction down for a bit.

Addressed repeatedly in the thread. I left it in the quote on purpose. It IS relevant.

S&F.......

Your post got me to thinking. Now we have The Party in charge of a One-Party Nation and we have the Party controlled media, daily offering up the Party propaganda and agenda and massaged science and statistics, etc. But, I wonder.....in the old USSR did Pravda and Izvestia rely soley on sales and subscriptions to survive or were they State subsidized?

I ponder this as we see more and more News heads roll as News Rooms are downsized and cut backs are necessary to keep them going. ATT is looking to offload CNN because its a money loser and the LA Times is up for sale....again.

I guess maybe THE Party can rely on its benefactor/controllers like Jeff Bezos to bail out the major cable news outlets; maybe Gates could buy CNN and watch them lose money year over year.

At some point however, something's going to have to give. For one thing, mostly all the millions of migrants waltzing across the border dont even speak English. They dont have to anymore.
