I think that post is completley innapropriate. I have not yet formed an opinion on this case however mocking the battle to keep the life of a living human being is totally inhuman.

I am listening to the Drudge now, for the first time, and it's quite interesting to see the opinions on this case

This Congressional hearing is inappropriate.

I can not believe that the baby in Texas was let to die, because the parents could not afford to keep him alive, and it was under bush watch.

But alas Terri get to stay alive, I am still trying to figure out what is going on, and how the politicians play with us human beings only when we served a purpose to them.

I think is outrageous.

Now, I haven't seen anything signifigant discussing this...but is it possible that this woman actually can think and does know what her state is and she can't articulaty or has lost motor skills allowing her to move entirley? What if she can think and is hoping someone will realize she is still 'alive' yet cannot speak or move to show people her brain is functioning. Would a brain scan show this? Has one been done?

A mentally disabled woman whose court ordered starvation-execution began Friday attempted to contradict her estranged husband's claim that she wants to die hours before her feeding tube was disconnected, an eyewitness is claiming.

Barbara Weller, an attorney for Terri Schiavo's parents, told reporters Friday afternoon that during her visit earlier in the day she told Ms. Schiavo:

"Terri, if you would just say, 'I want to live,' - all of this will be over."

According to pro-life activist Randall Terry, who recounted the scene to radio host Sean Hannity, Schiavo tried desperately to repeat Weller's words.

"'I waaaaannt . . .' Schiavo allegedly said, in a prolonged yell that had police stationed nearby running into her hospice room.

"She just started yelling, 'I waaaannt, I waaaannt,'" Terry said, according to Weller's account.

At that point police ejected Weller, he said.






She wants to live!

Ed, you're dramatizing things. She never said I waaaaaa....I'm listening to drudge and she was responding to her father with ahhhhhhh...and several variations, but not the way you stated, IMHO.
