No problem, I'm not trying to convince people of anything, just I'm not getting the vaccine either. If somebody else wants to get it I'm fine with that. As I alluded to in another thread what do you expect people that have pushed this narrative the whole time? if they drop it now they will look like the overreacting hand-wringing people a lot of us suspect they are.

You don't need a crystal ball to look into the future to tell you that things are not making sense. The science does not back up the need for a vaccine to be able re-open businesses and live our normal lives. A virus that kills less than 0.07% of the people it infects and the vast majority of those deaths are from elderly and infirm. I'm not going to tell you not to take the vaccine, but I might just say "told ya so" when things don't quite work out like you hoped.

I would just say, I’m a logical realist.

I personally know several who’ve had Covid. They recommend I get the vaccine.

We have only one hospital here. The medical people I know — recommend I get the vaccine.

Am I going to take advice from those I know, or a conspiracy website?

It is an emergency authorized mRNA shot..unless you're over 70, it doesnt make sense to me. Even then, Ivermectin might be the best option. I would hang in the back of the line and let others beta test it.

I hope the vaccine works and keeps you safe.

As I said previously, I'm not anti-vaxx, as some rather more fringe folks are, while I may be fringe in some of my opinions, vaccinations aren't one of them.

I just have severe issues with how quickly these various vaccines were rushed into use. No prior testing, certainly not large scale, no studies about the long term effects, if any, of this vaccine.

Some of us are old enough to remember thalidomide, and its horrific effects on the unborn. If ever there is a cautionary tale about lack of study of the effects of drugs, and or vaccines, this would be one of 'em.
