Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong. I punched "new topic" and entered a poem I'd written and I was directed " sorry but this topic has been covered in anohter thread. Believe-me it hasn't. Anyone tell me what I did wrong. Thanks.

It may have been the subject title?

I think asala got this one. You likely entered a thread title that is already being used.

The most common cause of that is entering no title for your topic.

Blank titles have been done before, the system will tell you circumlocutionally.

Thanks everybody, I'll try again. Is there a way of not losing what you tried to post if it's not excepted under the title you chose. Thanks again

I've lost posts. Verrrrrry frustrating.
Sometimes, I compose my fiction posts in Word and then cut and paste.
Another, and much easier, method is to highlight my post and then right-click to copy it. If it does disappear, you can paste it back in.

Backup is very important in cyberspace

Happy writing, kazi!
