Twenty years ago, her sister Princess Shamsa, also tried to escape the ruling family, while staying in the UK. The governments of Dubai and the UAE have failed to respond to requests for comment from the BBC about Latifa's current condition.

Princess Latifa timeline: The failed escapes of Sheikh Mohammed's daughters

Well, ole Shaky pants is back in the news about his abducted daughter.

As a back story, two daughters and one of his 200 wives(sarc) tried to escape the family and the old man, The Ruler of Dubai, sent special forces to abduct one that was on a private yacht in Indian waters under a US flagged boat, while another was kidnapped off a Cambridge, UK street.

Meanwhile, wife J., applied to the UK courts, successfully, for asylum seeking to get ole raper-face off her case.

The trail went silent until tonight, when Panorama is set to air some secret vids from a phone that got smuggled to her. It's a year of vids and i hopefully good.

Ole raper face is a big fixture round theses parts and is a fav of the Queen due to their love of horses. Bet his incestuous ass is will still be allowed to come and go once lockdown lifts and horse racing is allowed again.

Yeah I've seen the press hyping this up , she's reportedly being held hostage in a palace.

Sucks to be her and all that but WTF does it have to do with us , there are bad parents everywhere in the world this one just happens to be loaded.

Their country their rules.

While the US just send the CIA , remember Extraordinary rendition ?

As for Princess Latifa , we don't know the full story and I'm not sure press indignation is a reason to get hot under the collar.

It's a fact , other countries just go in and kill the person but as this is a family matter I guess retrieving the family member is the way to go.

We don't know the full story only what is being fed to the media.

You say "Its a fact" and "we don't know" in the same post. Good one.

Maybe actually read the article and THEN post.

You will perhaps have something intelligent to say then.

That'll be the feminist BBC article ? , yeah I'm sure I need to read that.
I am already aware of the story.

You will perhaps have something intelligent to say then.

If you say so.

People being abducted off the streets of Cambridge, no matter what nationality, is a crime.

Just like poisoning double agents. But, the silence from the U.K Government is deafening and demonstrates that this Government is full of #e.

What motivated Panorama to do a piece on this young lady? "Princess locked in tower" is, efitorially, old news.

A huge sense of social injustice? Old friends of hers from University looking to build a career at the BBC? Someone looking to make it with an old friend of hers now working at the BBC? Poking at the Government in some sly game of political snooker?

I suggest it would have been more shocking to see a piece about free remaindered food being hand out to hungry famillies just up the road in Oldham, you know like Panorama used to do when it was a hard hitting current affairs 'thread'.

Frankly,I think the story of the story would be more revealing.

Reminds me of people who howl with laughter at Monty Python's skewering of the Church, but never wonder why he doesn't mock Islam in the same way . . . or at all.

🤔
