So started watching the latest We Are Change video and immediately had to stop after watching the intro to make this thread.

So, an education video directed at children tries to teach them what kind of terrible things would happen to the world if Bill Gates disappeared.

I'll post the video below(of course comments are disabled), but I personally couldn't really stomach more than the brief clip from the we are change video so i'll post the list below.

Firstly, Bill Gates is the 3rd richest person, if Bill Gates Disappeared. A highly respected billionaire will be missed by many.

Secondly, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is the largest private charitable foundation worldwide. If Bill Gates Disappeared, philanthropy will take a big hit

Thirdly, Bill Gates co-founded "The Giving Pledge".
Herein billionaires pledge at least half of their wealth to philanthropy. If Bill Gates Disappeared, this wonderful initiative may die down.

Fourthly, Bill Gates is a leader in the Climate Change fight. If Bill Gates Disappeared, climate conservation efforts may take a hit.

Fifthly, Bill Gates has funded many startups working in clean energy. If Bill Gates Disappeared, fossil fuels might make a comeback.

Lastly, if Bill Gates Disappeared. Warren Buffett the famous American Investor will dearly miss his best friend

My favourite is bolded above, though, I have to say...myself, i'm fairly certain the world would immediately become a better place if the gates and their organization just disappeared. That's a world I wanna live in.

So ATS, what do you think would happen if Bill Gates disappeared?

I wish he would disappear. Along with every politician on the planet.

I don't think even Dave Paulides would look.

Assuming nothing nefarious, then I'd say NOTHING would happen. Nothing would happen because the organisation that sits behind old mate Gatesy is a Hydra. And while none of the other heads may be well known to the general public, I can assure you, the aim of these people is no less dangerous.

I would also like to point out that there is no such thing as philanthropy. It's philanthrocapitalism. People like this a$$hole do not give their money away unless there is a return of some sort at some time.

If Bill Gates disappeared, he'd stop trying to make Snowpiercer a reality.

Hahaha. Oh my. Surely this couldn't be the work of the left, the progressives and those woke pinko bastards. They would never put highly respected and billionaire in the same sentence. Unless highly was preceded by the word not."

But GD someone call the pope and put a robe on this man quick. Saint Gates out here saving the world.

Real talk though. I think we'd be okay without Gates.

That's a lot of fretting nonsense under the assumption that no one else would be noble enough to be charitable.

#, Gates may as well start his own cult and make it official.

You'd need to find someone else to hate. Seriously, though, he's already made his impact. The world has changed and he had a large part in doing that. So did Jobs. So has Musk. These guys gave me the career I had. They COMPLETELY transformed my life and gave me a career.

I wonder how many people expressing their abject and blind hatred of Gates are typing on a Windows-based computer. I wonder how well you would have done without their contributions. And speaking of contributions, have YOU made any? Because they certainly have.

Bill and Melinda Gates died in 2013? You are not going to believe what we have discovered… looks like the Gates deceased in 2013. This is from Ancestry.com and it gives us enough info to start digging deeper. Thanks to a lively discussion in the Conclave today with an invited guest to get us looking into this matter – which isn’t really what we are looking for, but this was staring at us!

Why haven’t the Gates family announced the death of Bill and Melinda?

truthbits.blog...

Another hmmm moment for you.

I don't think it would really have much impact if Bill Gates disappeared.

Some other billionaire would just take his place and life would just go on as usual... but what if all billionaires disappeared tomorrow and all their wealth was distributed among the masses?

Now that would be interesting.

Yes indeed that's a good question. I suspect much much better than we are at the moment.

And speaking of contributions, have YOU made any? Because they certainly have.

I have a long list, however, I would just like to point out that PLUMBERS & ELECTRICIANS are far more important and have contributed so much more meaningfully to this planet than anything Gates Of Hell ever has.

And don't forget, a$$holes like Gates do nothing, they only surround themselves with people that actually know what they're doing.

The problem isn't what he's done. The problem is that because he has done that he now seems to think he's an insta-expert at everything else.

For example, he thinks that the solution to climate change is to fire off particulates into the air to reflect the sun's energy back at it. The main problem is that if it goes horribly wrong, there is no easy way to reverse it, and we know it can and does work and can and does go horribly wrong because that's how volcanoes wreak havoc on the climate. And it's also the premise of the catastrophic climate change in the Snowpiercer world - some billionaire thinks he's saving the planet by shooting off particulates into the atmosphere to save the planet by cooling, and it works out way too well.

I'd be willing to bet money there's more people on ats right now running either a linux based android phone or a Unix based iphone.

The entire computer industry would be a lot farther along and in a far more open state if hardware manufacturers weren't forced into paying a Microsoft license by making agreements with intel and amd.

And now thanks to Microsoft, every computer you buy comes with uefi, a microsoft owned framework that replaced the traditional BIOS system. Thanks to uefi, companies such as canonical, red hat etc. Are now forced to pay Microsoft to have major linux distributions 'officially' signed, allowing them to be installed on your computer. If these companies weren't paying the new Microsoft firmware tax, installing linux on a modern computer would be hell.

No...Microsoft can go to hell, they also didn't do jack #, the bought DOS under a shady deal, didn't pay royalties on it and profited off it. Microsoft is and always has been a terrible company responsible for stifling innovation and aggressively dominating and controlling the computer industry.

The world would be far better if they had never existed.

In 5-10 years or less, it would be in the hands of the top-tiered multi-millionaires right below the billionaires you made disappear. 50% would likely be in their hands within 2 years.

the much more interesting question would be what if donald trump suddenly disappears? will the hairspray market collapse then?

but to answer your question: there would probably be a big search.

The emptiness of their existence without something to hate would kill endless leftists.

The mainstream news networks would collapse, that's for sure. He's still their #1 ratings grabber Dementia Joe and Cackling Kamala have people reaching for the remote.
