Is it just me or is ATS lagging bigtime today?

Just curious if others are experiencing long lag times as we did some weeks ago after the server change over oppeared to have them fixed. At that time ATS slowed down one day for only a short period of time, yet since late yesterday I have seen times like this

Seems to happen off and on, but today is the worst I've seen! Damn technology

I have found it in some forums/posts and not others, oddly enough.

The acid test for me is how many double posts I produce if my itchy trigger finger gets a bout of key rage. But I have not beaten my septuplet posts of over a year ago.

Sometimes in the order of things it may be good to enforce a period of mellowing and soma-enhanced visual distraction.

Well perhaps for you, but for me it has been over 24 hours and it is driving me nuts.

Somebody got bitter over being banned? Or maybe somebody doesn´t want some stuff here on ATS to get out to the world? Nice to see that it´s being taken care of. When we find out who is causing this, they will regret the day they were born...

BTW, I just noticed the visitor counter at the bottom of MyATS is gone. There were 2600-something visitors just few minutes ago. Are visitors being blocked now or do we just not count them? Maybe the DOS-attack was most of the visitors...

Not for me, it only is ATS or was, I should say. Since SO made his statement the speed has improved dramatically.

WOAH! That's quite disturbing. I just finished mentioning an early attack I experienced (DDoS). Very, very bad. Are you considering charges?

Again? ATS was really dragging for me just now.

In the opinion of the maintenance staff, is this a concerted effort, or random attacks?

I mean, every attack requires a motivation, so what's the motivation?

It's going fine now, but off and on things do appear screwy today. Don't know what's up, maybe the admin is busy tying down the corners of the tent so to speak.
