Foxes and Fossils

If you've not heard of this band out of Smyrna, GA (Foxes and Fossils) and you love tight harmonies and awesome vocals, you're in for a treat. They don't tour, they do play at some venues, but they're mostly a YouTube sensation, having racked up $900,000 due to tremendous viewership. It all started when a dad got his then 15-yr-old daughter to work out some harmony with him for his band. He saw the potential, enlisted one of her friends from church choir, and the rest is history. Enjoy!!

They're awesome! It helps that they're doing really good old songs and playing them faithfully. You couldn't get such great sounds from today's music. Always liked the Mamas and the Pappas, myself and they do a great job on a couple of their songs.

And the blond girl on the left (top vid) really pulls off the deep, rich tonal quality of Mama Cass's voice.
