CEO Jeff Bezos will step down as CEO and "transition" to the role of executive chair in Q3 2021, ending an era at Amazon; Bezos will be replaced with Andy Jassy - currently the CEO of Amazon Web Services - as CEO of the entire company at that time.

So....Bezos is out. Seems an interesting move. I have been hearing of his possibly running for POTUS in 2024. This would appear to line up with that.

In terms of business practices, Amazon has also run many family businesses and smaller businesses into the ground, ripping off their products and making the "Amazon Basics" version for cheaper: How Amazon Wins: By Steamrolling Rivals and Partners

Also, one other thing I mentioned on a separate thread, and is from Catherine Austin Fitts who said that people like Bezos can buy "real estate in Opportunity Zones" using proceeds from sale of their stocks, without having to pay any Capital Gains taxes on them. It turns out, in a lot of areas where BLM/Antifa burnt down and vandalized this summer are Opportunity Zones and Bezos/Amazon are buying up tons of that property.

FURTHER that out of the 37 cities that suffered massive damages from the riots of BLM/Antifa last year, 34 of them have Federal Reserve Banks in them. (look up Planet Lockdown documentary).

Bezos would win the presidency, he is a very good deceiver, the best deceiver is always in the whitehouse. I am confused how Trump won over Clinton though, she was a better liar than he was...but maybe it was because she got caught so often on stuff that couldn't be covered up.

Bezos is one of the rare high-profile CEO's to not resign in disgrace. Going out while at the top of ones game is smart for athletes and business people.

Same position Trump was in. And considering the example Washington made of Trump (and continues to make even after his presidency), any outsider would have to be falling-over insane to even want the job.

Jeff, take your fortune and don't worry about a damned thing for the rest of your life. Get into philanthropy or something if you need to keep busy, but whatever in God's name you do stay out of politics.

Yep... He made his money (IIRC, there was a member here on ATS several years ago who claimed he knew Jeff and got in on it early), built his Empire, and now can do whatever the hell he wants to do.
