Finally! Forensic Election Audit in Maricopa County (AZ) Begins Next Week

They are still actively double/triple checking specific boxes today.

Have been watching most of the day, and they are still going now.

Most of today's staff has left, but around 30 still working.

It looks like they were selecting only the boxes where the count was different from county count for an extra count today, and looks like they are nearing the end of that process.

Digging through most pallets to pull only the box(es) on a printout for each pallet.

This looks like at least the 3rd type of activity there today.

No idea if any other activities are planned after this one.

Oh, Care... I know you really really want some results released, but the more I think about it, the less I think that's going to happen. It was Cyber Ninjas that wanted the NDA until the final report is released, and those results will only be given to Karen Fann. I doubt even Karen Fann knows anything yet. Not anything conclusive or of real substance to share. If the auditors wanted the NDA, then they aren't going to be talking to anyone.

The best we could probably get is some of the workers talking out of turn, and they could probably only tell you what they personally know or whatever gossip may have been circulating among workers.

But I won't try to talk you out of hoping and wishing. Anything can happen!

I was also getting very impatient when I was under the impression that they had actually finished and left the coliseum over the weekend.

I get the impression that they intend to stay as long as it takes to finish their current activity tonight, and so far there are no signs that they are preparing for another ballot activity after this one.

This is one of the auditors, Bob Hughes, a former election ballot printer in AZ who helped design the ballot examination procedures, explaining some of those procedures.

Near the end of the video Finchem claims that the audit team 'already has evidence of penetration, and may need router logs for confirmation'.

First time I've heard that from someone connected to the audit.

Audit team wants to to get the ballot phase completed (and published?) before beginning a new legal effort regarding the routers that might allow US AG to stop all audit activity again somehow.

Thank you for that update -- much appreciated! I haven't had a chance to check the Coliseum feed today. I've been getting bids for removing some palm trees today and it's kept me busy and it sure ain't fun!

Is more interesting to me now that the staff count is small enough that I can figure out and follow what they are doing (mostly anyway).

But I was already aware of the strategy on that due to US AG's pretty specific threat on the issue.

The router bit surprised me, and was something we were discussing here recently.
