How conscious were you of future impact for your actions at 13?
That's kind of the issue. Racism, and other similar behaviors, aren't genetic, they're learned.

The American People will not and never would knowingly adopt Socialism.
Yet under the name of 'Liberalism' they will adopt every single facet and every fragment of the Socialist Program.
Until one day America will awake to find itself a Socialist Nation, without even realizing how it happened!

She learned that somewhere. I don't know that she learned this from her parents, but she obviously didn't learn better from her parents either. There was a failure in parenting somewhere.

That's the thing ... all we have were her Tweets in isolation. What was going on around them? That fuller picture would make a better understanding.
Was she in a fight with another kid, for example? It doesn't fully excuse it, but things can be said in anger that you'd never say at other times. Was it sarcasm? Without that context you don't know, neither do I, and neither does anyone else. It could also be exactly what it looks like.
Also, seeing your post to AM, you're saying she learned it from her parents, but at 13, you go with your peers a lot. What if we was running with the wrong peer group and was acting out to look tough to them?

Uh, okay. That really has nothing to do with what I said.

That's nice, this thread isn't about socialism.
NAUGATUCK — Two high-ranking borough administrators are on leave as officials continue investigations into racist and violent social media posts that surfaced last month.
Screenshots of social media posts made by a teenage daughter of Police Chief Steven Hunt and Naugatuck High School Associate Principal Johnna Hunt became public Jan. 22 and circulated on social media. The posts were made in 2019 after Steven Hunt was sworn in as chief.
The borough hired two law firms — Karsten & Tallberg, LLC and Michelson, Kane, Royster & Barger, P.C. — to conduct separate investigations.
In a later interview, Hess said the investigations will delve into Steven Hunt’s conduct, how the police department has been running before and under his command, department policies, and other areas. The borough is paying the firms about $175 an hour, he said.
