Well, well... Aren't you the clever & witty one?! As I have repeatedly said in various places on this forum, I have no horse in this race - the Orange one is neither here nor there to me, I think he's pretty dumb, but I also think he kept a lot of his election promises & managed to unite the conservative voices in America to be staunchly against the insane leftist nonsense that has become increasingly vitriolic & inhumane over the past few decades.

I have grave concerns about what a sick old paedophile means for the USA & for the world, however - far more concern than I had with Trump. Trump's advisors could be counted on to hold his wilder impulses in check, and to guide him on a clear path. Paedo Joe's advisors, however, advocate spirit cooking & pizza parties, so they are of wilder & darker impulses than even the decrepit old nonce who they fawn over. America faces the darkest moment it has faced since the civil war.

He did not unite sane conservative voices of America. He united a religiously indoctrinated, anti-scientifically ignorant cult. He may be pretty dumb, as you say, but not half as dumb as his cult.

You do realise you're just showing your bias, and what you say has no basis in fact? Religious belief does not necessarily indicate an anti-scientific mindset. Take me as an example - I'm very scientifically interested in the universe & all its wondrous laws, components & processes - I also believe in a God who instituted the laws which led to what we enjoy today. I don't believe the universe was created in 6 days, I see Genesis as allegory leading to spiritual revelation.

To be honest, I can't be bothered ripping your comments to shreds - it would be very easy to do so at length, but I just don't have time. Instead, I'll just state the conclusion - you're a boorish anti-mystic dullard, blinkered to the same extent you accuse religiously-minded folk. You're probably not even that adept at interpreting & utilising scientific thought, and instead drape yourself over the scientific luminaries who are on board with the pizzaa party leftist traitors against humanity, hoping to absorb a little of their 'light' so you feel less dense than you clearly are.

As you say, it doesn't necessarily. But all too often it does, because throughout the world and throughout history, religious law has found itself at odds with scientific law. Gradually religious thinking adapts, but not until everyone else has moved on.

However, I don't come to the same conclusion. I conclude therefore that your opinion is not sound. It appears that your opinion is guiding what you believe to be true. Because you believe the pandemic is being used as a weapon against you by powerful people, you misrepresent the reality of it.

To take one example from your comments above,

Those people are mostly elderly with other health problems - and even people that died FROM other problems, are written down as having died from covid. So even that number is most likely inflated and exaggerated. But let's assume it's 100% factual.

The last I checked, heart and similar problems kill around 18 million people every single year. Yet we don't call it a pandemic.

Whether you choose to call it a pandemic or not, the hospitals in my country (as in others) are swamped with patients seriously ill with Covid. So much so, that other serious illnesses are going untreated. Tens of thousands of medical staff are off sick with the virus and others are traumatised and exhausted from weeks of battling to save lives, while putting their own at risk.

Are you claiming that this is not happening? Are all the doctors, nurses and patients engaged in some giant charade? I know doctors, nurses and hospital patents - are they all 'in on it', because they're painting the same picture?

As you say, most of those dying are old. I have several friends who died within a couple of weeks of catching the virus. But it's OK, according to you, because all but one of them were already old and they died with it, not of it, although it's what put them in hospital.

My friend, I appreciate your spirit and steadfastness to my blunt reply.

You do well to hold your ground if you truly believe in your cause.

But be careful to not put words in my mouth; I make no such claims as those you attribute to me.


I encourage those who see this pandemic as a cover for something more sinister; but I myself have not painted it as being "weaponized" against us.

I don't think it's "ok" when someone, anyone dies prematurely; though it is the natural course of life, I weep for he or she who has lost a loved one.

All information we take in, we filter through our own perceptive adjuster; when left unchecked, the filter clogs up and nothing comes through.


Though we disagree on likely many things, we are not in opposition.

You and I are of the same flock, and we each hold true to our beliefs.

I would suggest that our system of governance has failed us, in that even in this day, we have not come to a shared understanding of the goings on of our nations.

Please accept my apology. Events have suitably conspired to make me see a certain error in my approach to the processing of my own personal analyses & proclamative speculations issued via the medium of ATS. One thing that I had failed to take account of was real world impact of the same, being as they are delivered without the broad knowledge base & professional opinions of many leagues of extraordinary people, all of whom labour night & day for a better, safer world.

I'm not saying that all of my core beliefs have changed hugely (apart from my insults, which were ridiculous, with hindsight, apologies again) - but moderation & temperance are virtues which can & should be applied before deciding to making public the sorts of statements which may harbour excessive personal emotive colour, or which may stoke tensions in a world which has tensions enough of its own at the present time. For the benefit of everyone here, I withdraw the OP & would like for the site to bin this thread as worthless speculation, if possible. I see my comments as reckless & foolhardy, and if we could all desist from commenting further on this thread, please let the OP be the author of the LP also.

Few of us come here to change our opinions, myself included. It's more about entering the fray, persuading the undecided, honing an argument, and hoping to gain a bit of knowledge in the process. I'm humbled that you're more focused on 'the truth', whatever it may be, than scoring points. I shall try to follow your example.
