Biden Signs Federal Mask Mandate; Breaks It

Have to give it to the totalitarians, rules and laws do not apply to them,

Thankfully this goes to state governments, soo I guess I will not be visiting their now democrats private federal property now. Beside that, my states is been pretty good when it comes to businesses and people choices to wear mask or not.

On this issue, I stand with the celebrated racist Joe Biden

He decreed it for interstate travel, so that's what I'm wondering as I live in a city that straddles state lines. Do I have to wear one in the car now if I happen to pop over the state line here?

Read and digest the changes in testing protocol.

I did some quick math on the numbers. Dialing down the sensitivity of the PCR test to eliminate false positives when taken into consideration in my state with its new case count as reported for yesterday means there would have been about 15 total positives state wide! (That's as per my husband who understands the technical aspect of the test and how it works.)

So the odds that *I* am one of them are pretty damn unlikely. In fact, the odds that any single person from my state are any of them are pretty damn small.

But please, you are perfectly fine to continue hiding under your bed.

There's a difference between wearing a mask because you can and being forced to wear one.

You may as well be saying that you don't know why people refuse to think like you do.

Because I have to exercise with the damn thing on, and it means I have to go back to using albuterol which I don't need when I'm not masked.

This is how albuterol makes me feel.

I even occasionally get the shakes and heart palpitations with it.

It sucks.

Here's an interesting little tidbit...

I work in a bar, see and interact with dozens of people per day and none wearing a mask. Never got sick or knew anyone who did.

My finace is an R.N. who works in a hospital and to even walk in the first door, has to be wearing a mask and have her temperature taken. Dressed in her PPE, [ gown, gloves, little paper booties over the shoes, mask and face shield ] she looks like a NASA astronaut.
Guess who tested positive and we had to go into quarantine.

Hint : It wasn't me. Wanna tell me again how effective those masks are ?

Until this day I do not wear mask, go anywhere and touch everything, I do carry a mask in case I really, really want to go in a place that requires them, but beside that I avoid any of those places. I have not gotten no even a sinus infection since covid started, I wonder about that, I usually get my fair share of them a year.

I was thinking about this, now I might be wrong...

But isn't the White-House technically a federal building, so he has just mandated that he and his family now have to wear a mask at all times in what is now their own home....

I don't know I am sure that they have some exemptions in place but it still made me chuckle a little to think about that, I do though agree that mask wearing in federal buildings should be compulsory but still.

Stuff like this annoys me because people like Biden know now that they're going to have the camera's on them all the time and it just undermines the message when they get caught like this.

Anyhow, it sets a wonderful example for all of us to order us to do things he and his own family aren't doing very publicly and blatantly hours later. Typical Democrat.

The order specifies:

Sec. 2. Immediate Action Regarding Federal Employees, Contractors, Buildings, and Lands. (a) The heads of executive departments and agencies (agencies) shall immediately take action, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, to require compliance with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and other public health measures by: on-duty or on-site Federal employees; on-site Federal contractors; and all persons in Federal buildings or on Federal lands.

CDC guidelines:

A mask is NOT a substitute for social distancing. Masks should still be worn in addition to staying at least 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who don’t live in your household.

Masks may not be necessary when you are outside by yourself away from others, or with other people who live in your household. However, some localities may have mask mandates while out in public, please check for the rules in your locality.
