This is an easy one.

A flood of illegal voters, er, immigration
A tidal wave of taxes to pay for them
A redistribution of wealth via forgiveness and reparations
A blatantly unconstitutional attack on personal rights beginning with the 2nd amendment
A financial reckoning and resultant stock market crash
Four more years of a POTUS crying about what he inherited a la obiwamba. Never mind the fact that he knew what he was getting, cheated to get it, and claimed he knew how to fix it - which will never happen because Trump.

The same crowd that is fear mongering Biden's Presidency were saying the same thing when Obama was elected(and re-elected). We are more divided now than we were 12 years ago, so this might fuel more of doom and gloom cries.

The guns law will not change much, except mentally unstable should in theory be prevented from purchasing a gun, which is not exactly bad.

They said that Obama was going to ban most guns and what not. This lead a large buy up of guns and ammo in anticipation of laws that never happened.

There will not be re-education camps for Trump supporters, those proclaiming such are completely delusional. There maybe steps taken to label disinformation or fake news fiction, as we do have a problem with people buying into B$ narratives and this has been proven to have deadly consequences as we saw on January 6th.

I do not even want to talk about the socialism scare word, those who are proclaiming there is a socialist agenda with Biden are also delusional, they do not realize the US already has many socialist programs for one, and Biden is a very moderate Democrat so it is doubtful he will expand many of those programs, except healthcare(which needs help 8n the US). That said, those who are using socialism as a scare word can not explain exactly what socialism is or what it means for the country.

While I am not very optimistic about it, I do have some hope that Biden can help fix the health care problem we have in the US. We have the worst healthcare system in developed world and pay much more than the rest of the world. Essential healthcare and medicine in a nation as wealthy as the US should be provided to every citizen. Drug prices need to be affordable. The healthcare for profit industry for basic medical needs is a massive failure in the US. There is still.a huge market for private healthcare with elective surgeries, alternative treatments, ect.. That said, the health insurance industry is a powerful lobby and they will likely prevent any significant changes to the US healthcare system, that is why I am not optimistic that Biden will help fix it.

It will be interesting to see how the Republican party regroups after Trump and what platform their 2024 candidate runs on.

It matters very much as you say. Aside from the fact the US is a major player in the world game there's a few hundred million actual people over there and if that's not important I don't know what is.

Not that it matters much to a Brit,

I'm sorry but the very fact the OP took the time to ask proves your theory wrong.

I also care very much about the future of my big Sister, Nieces and Nephews, Cousin, Aunt and Uncle and if the doom and gloom is true, which I doubt, I should worry.

I should have said that it wouldn't matter nearly as much to most Brits as it does to us in America.
My apologies, I do realize that our world is much smaller today and we all have friends and relatives in other countries.
My statement wasn't meant as a hit on the people of the UK.

Perhaps the administration will make this a permanent Schutzstaffel for the next 8+ years, loyal only to the progressive party.

I actually did think about that. At the same time though, there are significantly fewer people on the Left that warn about the Right coming to ban abortions than people on the Right that warn about the Left coming to ban guns.

If anything, most of the talk about banning abortion during a Republican presidency actually comes from the Right.

So Republicans mention abortion bans more than Democrats?

If their gun ban rhetoric sells guns and increases gun industry profits, should Republicans get credit for increasing revenue for the abortion industry too?

The rhetoric on the bans is ubiquitous in politics. I support the right to own guns and have an abortion. Total bans are unacceptable. I can say that my concern about bans is based on what comes directly from the mouths of those that propose it.

Can you point me to where this has happened in the past please? As I said I'm looking for what will most likely happen based on previous democratic presidents.

I expect new gun laws, environmental regulations, much higher fuel prices, inflation will run rampant, conservatives and religious people will be persecuted, civil rights will be steeply eroded, racial violence against white people.

This is always what the Right expects, since this is what they've always been fed by the media that they faithfully embrace. Gun sales have traditionally improved whenever a Dem moves into the WH, with a steadily increasing hysteria shoveled out that centers on impending gun rights restrictions [that only actually occurred - and only for a relatively few years - as a direct result of Reagan's assassination attempt - The Brady Bill - largely pushed by the Bush 41 folks and signed by Clinton, then to be eliminated during Bush 43's tenure].

What has become the norm, in recent years, is that the GOP has always immediately rediscovered its deep and abiding commitment to the imposition of severe austerity as soon as a Dem steps into the Oval Office. Another expected ramification is the reemergence of the Republican Party as faithfully devoted to monitoring the loyal opposition's adherence to exact and unflinching protocols and historical norms in governance and personal conduct, often to a degree flirting dangerously with parody. Look up Obama Dares to Wear a Tan Suit for a really good example of this sort of thing.

You can expect plenty of angry and paranoid raging about the failures of the Biden Administration coming from the same media outlets that worked hard to dismiss even the most controversial stuff that the Trump Administration did and didn't do. What you won't see is any concern over how insincere and craven this radical shift in focus by the GOP and its media echo chamber will be perceived by the rest of the world. There doesn't seem to be a gene that allows for self-reflection or shame among the most professional servants of the 2021 GOP, although you can expect leading members of the more traditional Republican Party to aggressively take those acolytes on and, while the Dems will likely shrink from direct conflict, these hardcore conservative politicos will prove to be more than capable of eviscerating what's been left littered about DC by the Trump Revolution in its hasty retreat.

I am from the UK so this is a genuine question.

If we side step the anger and hatred for a while and steer clear of the China Joe, head sniffer routines what will it actually mean for the US based on history and precious democratic presidents?

I see a lot of doom and gloom and sensationalism here about the horrors that are supposedly coming bit would like some informed and factual based answers please.

Over here we have labour and conservative and neither of them have actually destroyed the country in a way that people feared they would just kind of messed it up a bit really.

To understand what the Demcratic administration will do and the results it will produce, you really need look no further than any major US City and California/New York.
Higher taxes
Increased Homelessness
Much higher crime rates
Open Borders Immigration Policies....the US will become a Sanctuary Country
Sell out of Israel and war in the Middle East
Much higher prices for everything, especially food and fuel and electricity
Increased polarization
Accelerated internal migration
Eviceration of small business
Mandates making mail in voting universal across the entire US, (if they can find a way to do that).
Accelereated flight from the Cities and the Public Schools

Followed by......Another Democratic Administration 4 years on.

Higher Taxes on middle and upper incomes

Increased regulations on small businesses

Many of the changes will be subtle but have significant impact and only recognized by policy wonks. Often times the impacts are not felt until years later. This is why leftist have such a hard time connecting their policies to failures.

I do expect they will try to push through one big thing. It might be more gun control or something with healthcare. The reality is most of the major Democrats are in their last term due to age so they don't have to suffer the fallout of a wide sweeping change so they may go for something big while in control.

Perhaps if the Trump wing of the GOP hadn't launched a strike against the Capitol two weeks ago, and followed that up with constant threats of another attack, the $7.5 mil spent on that very specific additional security would've been spent on something else. You have to admit that [well, I guess you don't have to admit anything] the riot/attack on the Capitol that tried to stop Biden's election certification had to adjust some of what was going to happen today. If it didn't, then the Secret Service wouldn't be doing its job.

It won't mean much but hopefully an end to the reality T.V. show of the last four years.

Higher taxes? Sure...maybe a happier populace too. Who knows?

Trump tax cuts didn't do jack for me. And that's all that he is praised for...so I hope for just sanity, normality. A governement that does it job and I needn't hear from a crisis everday.

So because Trump’s tax cuts really didn’t do anything for you, you are ok with higher taxes under Biden?
I think you would cut off your nose to spite your face.
Dumb.

Honestly it's really hard to say until we start going thru it. We don't know exactly what Biden will do. He talked about rolling back some of Trumps plans but to what extent. Ultimately, a majority of us will likely live life the same we have for the past 20 years regardless of who has been in power.

I will be watching some things like my taxes being taken each paycheck and I do think things like oil will rise back up to that $4 or more per gallon (for gas). But we'll see.

See those 25-30,000 armed troops in DC? About 5-6,000 will do a 30 day deployment there. The rest you can bet your last coin that you will see again real soon. Maybe even in Europe. Joe is gonna start some wars to make up for the last four years of peace.

That is certainly thruth all over World when democrats are in power, they just love to spend your money and send it abroad as all sort of "aid". Debt of country will skyrocket as it did with Obama. Biden is not a strong leader and most likely is just a puppet and Harris will do the debt for you... and they love it as they did with Obama (most popular President in US).

In Europe Presidents are weak and power is with Prime ministers and parlaments, with Biden US President will lose power and new laws are written to keep that way in future too. So what will be left .. is more debt over and over. President will be just a cover boy on the "seat".

US Debt by Presidents

Honestly, I think, more than any specific thing, we are going to see continually increasing pressure to mine wealth out of the middle class. The elites have insulated themselves from further graft, and the lower class don't have anything left to give. The middle class is the last remaining bastion of massive wealth (collectively). So, what we're going to see is an increasing collection of policies which make life more expensive and difficult for the middle class. Small independent business doesn't contribute a lot, financially, the government as a whole. Nothing in comparison to big business, who pay for influence and pay well. So, if you let big business move increasingly off-shore while at the same time making it difficult for small independent businesses to survive you squash the guy in the middle. You give him no chance to survive other than being subservient to big off-shore business.

The elites know the game, and can be controlled with money. The lower class are already left leaning voters. The only resistance the left has at the ballot box is the middle class, and this is where the division lies, so it will be time to slowly strangle them in order to get the upper hand come election day.

How ever you paint the Jan 6 event, the dems will use it for the next eternity to put all things MAGA on a domestic terrorist list to be quashed...ala ISIS.
Already they are supporting groups intent on disallowing anything supporting Trump from using banking services.

"launched a strike" - please...if that is what it was, where were the bombs and firearms to actually "strike" anything? They were a pathetic spetznas group in their attempt to be sure.

I posted a link to a congressional report. How is that "cherry picking data" and "making charts"? What data do YOU think should be used to indicate economic strength. If you disagree with what I linked to, then show me some other links. Show me some evidence of your take on it. At least I'm trying to provide receipts.

Using charts without context is useless
First of all, we have only had 3 democrat presidents to have served under what can be considered the modern economy with true competition on the world market.
Carter was horrible, economically.
Clinton was the benefactor of the dot com explosion, and many of his policies reflected the GOP majority in Congress. Amazingly enough, it was the repeal of the Glass/ Steagal act which was backed by many in both parties which is usually #1 on the list for blame for the Great recession.
Obama still remains the ONLY president to never oversee a GDP growth rate of at least 3% during his tenure. And his record for job growth percentage was Abysmal. Since WWII only both Bush presidencies have had worse numbers in that regard.
So just looking at a chart, without looking at context is foolish

You aren't wrong and I'm pretty sure the middle class has fewer members than it did in 2019 and the vast majority of those slid into the lower class. Who knows maybe that's the plan to turn enough of them into the lower class and eventually they become Democrats. Remember those sayings the 70% of Americans were one paycheck away from being in financial trouble
well, we are smack dab in the middle of financial trouble with roadblocks a modern administration hasn't ever had to face.
