The story goes that due to the Arks power, it gets moved from one church to another on special occasions. That's why all the churches have replicas, but it makes one wonder how do they know which is the real one if you can't tell until you open it?

Or maybe they have the real arc hidden under or in the church and the replica is not hidden in there. That way if someone were to try to take it they would see the replica and assume it’s all they have?

The Ark is with the Sons of Levi (one of the "elite" bloodlines that run the show). It has the scroll in it that Mo(i)she (Moses) wrote the "instructions" (that he thought came from "God") on. Well, if you read the Bible, you will find that the AOTC was to have been built to very specific measurements. Oddly enough, it would have looked a lot like a style of processional funerary box used by the Egyptians and was to be carried on two poles.
