All reports from most MSM say a USCP officer succumbed to injuries from a fire extinguisher on Thursday, but USCP own spokesperson says that isn't true.....which is it and why is it not being reported on by all those that made the claim?

"Media reports regarding the death of a United States Capitol Police (USCP) officer are not accurate," Eva Malecki, communications director for the Capitol Police said in a statement. "Although some officers were injured and hospitalized yesterday, no USCP officers have passed away."

Well between the lying liars that lie constantly every day and the organization the supposed dead person was a part of, I'm leaning towards the supposed dead person's employers as being the more accurate source of information.

ETA: Might as well edit this one to prove why you shouldn't just blindly jump into things with stupid comments.

The official press release from the uscp says he died.

Our media is $#!+. For real. They do absolutely zero authentic investigation and verification. They should know that politicians will use something like this to hype their agenda. Extra vigilance to find the true story should be taken.

But, alas, again. Our media is $#!+. I believe nothing coming out of their mouths or their pens.

ETA - Why are flags flying at half staff on the Capitol bldg.? The story is because a CPO died from injuries during the protest.

So...why did the spokesperson for him say nobody died?

I am really wondering here....not trying to make anything up, but they specifically said nobody was dead.

The article you cited was a few hours before it was officially announced. I don't believe it was official at that time that others were saying he passed.

I heard what happened is that he was taken off life support and died late Thursday evening.

Then, I saw this posted elsewhere on ATS today:

abcnews.go.com...

Sicknick responded to Wednesday's riots and "was injured while physically engaging with protesters," Capitol Police said in a statement. "He returned to his division office and collapsed."

He was taken to a hospital, where he died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.

According to sources familiar with the matter, authorities believe Sicknick's death was driven by a medical condition. They're also investigating reports that he was attacked with a fire extinguisher or another item at the Capitol, sources said. So far, reports of an attack haven't been confirmed and authorities are hoping to locate video or other imagery from the scene.

I mean, every other damn thing was on film multiple times, it seems.

That is part of my issue....reporters prior to that were saying he died....the person in charge of all media responses said he didn’t.....and I can't find a single other article with a quote from them saying he did. And the Hill has not updated that article, which I would think they would have.

So in my mind.....either he was dead before that statement was released and the spokesperson lied, or he isn't dead.

He may be the same one dragged down the steps and beaten. They did throw a fire extinguisher at him, and beat him with a flag pole while some were singing God Bless America at some point. The video is on one or two threads here.

I think the woman who was trampled to death is laying near him but it's not confirmed. They were stepping all over her to get to beat him.

So he probably died but it may have been completely unrelated to whatever happened at the capitol?

Seems similar to the covid narrative.....died from covid but had stage 4 cancer type of thing.....

According to the official uscp media release.

www.uscp.gov...

Officer Sicknick was responding to the riots on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol and was injured while physically engaging with protesters.  He returned to his division office and collapsed.  He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  The death of Officer Sicknick will be investigated by the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch, the USCP, and our federal partners.

I think he did die, but so many things are questionable right now I can see the questions.

Here is President Trump’s order about Flag half-staff:

BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A PROCLAMATION

As a sign of respect for the service and sacrifice of United States Capitol Police Officers Brian D. Sicknick and Howard Liebengood, and all Capitol Police Officers and law enforcement across this great Nation, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, January 13, 2021. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same length of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this tenth day of January, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-one, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-fifth.

DONALD J. TRUMP

The media is also blaming a heart attack, a stroke, and an unspecified medical emergency on the Jan. 6th protest. And now they are using pretzelly words to connect the suicide of Howard Liebengood of the Capitol police to the protests.

Did I say our media is $#!+?

Every Capitol police officer that dies for the next few years will be a 'victim of the riot' and will also die 'with Covid.'

Or it could be someone else.
I had not heard of anyone being trampled to death.
IF THAT were true, it would be large headlines everyone on MSM??

He reported back to his division, then collapsed and died?

If it was due to being hit over the head with a fire extinguisher, does that make any sense?

Not really...

I'm sure he himself would have mentioned the hit to the head, they wouldn't need to be investigating rumours.

So where did the fire extinguisher story originate, anyway?
