Did I just get banned in a forum?

Political mud pit. Two posts I made (first ones ever) got deleted.

What's up with that?

I don't recall ATS having any issues like this prior?

There are rules and standards for creating threads.
The post having more content than the title of the thread is implied, and you didn't even do that...

The one I saw only had a few lines and nothing else. You need content and sources to back up what you're saying. Take a look at the OPs in most threads, there is usually quite a bit in the first post. It's in the site T&C.

Haven't been on ATS in a while...but you can see I've been a member for a long time.

Maybe I'll repost with more detail.

If you have a thread trashed you should check your PMs (the envelope at the top) and you'll see an auto-generated message from the staff member who trashed it. You can always reply to that to ask why it was trashed.

In this case, the thread didn't really have any content other than a link.

When you start a new thread there's a message that pops up in the thread box to tell you a bit about putting in content.
