Remembering David Bowie on his Birthday

And ahead of the 5th anniversary of his passing on Sunday , it's only when you lose something you realise how important it was.



Saw him live at the Phoenix Festival in England in the 90's , pure awesome.

Yes, slightly bemused that the King of Rock 'n' Roll didn't get a dedication thread on what would have been his 86th birthday. Have people forgotten him?

Not really an Elvis fan, but not really a Bowie fan either, although I thought he was good on The Snowman.

I don't know where I'm going from here,

In that case I offer this to remember both legendary musicians , a recording they made together.

The song was originally written in 1976. Elvis was sent a demo by Abba. He loved it, Bowie was hanging with Elvis around this period. They were goofing around in the studio, and Elvis pulled out the Demo. They assembled the Musicians to The Jungle Room and performed this Classic together.
