This is true and how they caught Ghislaine Maxwell and they will use a moble cell tower of their own and you will not be even connecting to your own cell phone provider. Even encrypted, if your calling your husbands # and your lawyers #, they aint stupid!

I was under the impression modern flip phones also had the built in spyware for location tracking, and remote audio.
Older flip phones find themselves suddenly "not supported" on the towers... I've tried three of my old ones and none will register. If I call and ask I'm basically told to eat it and get a new one.

I didn’t realize this. I was going to use an Alcatel Flip.

Just looked this up, it's running some sort of korean operating system.

Still a smart phone, but at least it's not based off of Google or Apple... So it's a better choice than anything I've got.
