Im angry that this was ever allowed. Trump sent people to the capitol and four people died. That was not presidential presidents dont tell people to protest and those deaths land squarely on his head and i will include Jarrod too when he was telling people to head to the the capitol.

Let me put you out of your misery. I was mocking the sentiment that Trump supporters have used for 4 years where there are just winners and losers and they don't care about unity its all about trolling the losers.

You were right the officer died now as well. He was beaten to death by the crowd. One woman was shot by capitol police another man died from a blow to the head possibly a brick they didnt say. and 2 medical emergencies involving hearth attacks.

I didn't vote for either candidate in 2016 because it was literally a joke, as far as I could tell.

I voted for Obama the first time and as a business owner in the energy industry, that cost me a WHOLE lot of money over 8 years.

When Trump won in 2016, I was pleasantly surprised at my profit margins up to 2019, his grasp of world trade and I especially appreciated his dealing with the VA, which to me as a Vet was a hell-hole before he fixed it.

Then Covid hit, my business folded for the most part and I was willing to try it again under a second Trump term because what he did worked.

He did not get that chance and I am OK with that.

What a Biden administration means for me is that I am no longer going to do business, I am financially in a position to where I don't have to work anymore.

I am NOT going to feed a government millions of tax dollars that I do not agree with in a business environment that will put me right where I was with Obama... starving to do business in the first place.

Also.

I have just chatted with leftists on ATS and other places for a few years that do not understand a business model, cannot comprehend simple economics and apparently let the government feed and clothe them.

Which was me btw... a tax payer.

So now I have a lot of free time on my hands, I am unhappy that my service to my country was all for nothing and America that we know it has passed the point of no return.

But the bittersweet part of that is that I am not feeding people like you anymore and as a big fan of Social Darwinism, it will all work out in the end.

The difference between you and me is that I see what is coming.

It will not effect me at all because I have just spent the last 20 years or so making sure that economically I don't need to make a dime to be just fine for the next 40 years.

It DOES effect me because I know that most American families can't go more than 3 months before running out of money.

So don't confuse my empathy for them as "emotionally seething."

It is sorrow for my fellow Americans for what is to come.

Statistically you are one of those.

So I feel sorry for you.

But as someone who warned about what is coming for years and being called every name in the book because of it...

I'm going to have a blast watching the next few years.
