Private Johnson Beharry from the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment, has been awarded the Victoria Cross for his unselfish act of bravery by saving 30 members of his platoon whilst under enemy fire.

news.bbc.co.uk
Private Johnson Beharry, 25, from London, twice saved the lives of colleagues while under enemy fire, but insisted he was just "doing his job".

He is still recovering from head injuries caused in one attack by a rocket-propelled grenade round.

This kind of news is fantastic to read. What that guy actually felt at the time, only he can explain.
He has stated that he was only doing his job, even though he got injured and is still recovering from horrific wounds.
Everyone who knows him should be proud of what he did and for what he has achieved.

That link doesn't work. Goes through to Microsoft, of all things.

For the record, THIS is the sort of thing ATSNN should be "reporting."

Link works now. And ATSNN has reported it...that's why it's already on ATSNN.
