Anyone had something on ATS Scare / Concern you?

Has anyone here ever had something strange occur to them in their real life which was somehow connected to a discussion or person here on ATS?

For example, maybe you were involved in a discussion about a controversial conspiracy subject and suddenly weird unexplainable things started happening in your real life which could be related? Or, you said something here, and then started receiving anonymous messages related to the same subjedt through a channel no one could know (i.e. a specific non-published email address / phone number?) Or, another member sent you something via like PM here which made zero sense about why they would send such a thing to you, and you had no idea who they were? Or some subject you posted on here, suddenly showed up almost verbatim on a news or other site? Stuff like that?

Anything like that ever happen to you here?

Several of my posts have showed up on news sites. One very very unique post even showed up in a comic/cartoon whatever you call the political funny print.
I’m not the only one.

I’m not talking about similar stories either. I’m talking about posts that have things taken verbatim.
There are a lot more eyes in here than people know...

I've seen ats stuff in the news before. Also seen it in some movie or something where some people are looking up alien stuff on the web and ats pops up. I'm also fairly convinced the creators of south park lurked ats for a while at least. There was one season where every episode had stuff I swear was from ats on it. The one where garrison is running for president.

As for the creepy stalker type #. No, none of the dumb # i've said on ats has ever led to falling down a rabbit hole of mystery and excitement akin to some kind of thriller movie where participating in an ats thread has led me on a journey of intrigue and danger.

Would be pretty cool though....wait...

Actually....

There was that creepy daycare stuff...that was partly on ats....partly on another site. Some guy actually went there, some creepy # hapoened involving some white rabbit sign and pizza ordering and kids disapearing and links to a toy company that doesn't exist. Nothing personally happened to me, but the guy that went there started being followed and eventually just stopped participating in the threads.

One of my posts appeared on another site. It was relating to the squeeze on the middle classes since the global banking crisis occurred.

It was strange to read it to be honest, but they did refer to me as a critical thinker, 😂😂.

I guess that may happen with those that have a heavy online presence. I believe that many sites, ATS included, crosses platforms, so what is posted here gets posted on other sites, Twitter and Facebook.

I only visit one other site, and I have no accounts with Facebook, Twitter, or the likes, so I would not know if anything showed up at another site.

Anyway one look at my stats will show that very few people are interested in anything I have to say, so I think I am safe.

I always try to avoid using the term '' as a matter of fact''. That because, well, you know, one mans fact is another mans opinion kind of stuff.

Anyway a couple of days ago I was reading at a thread reply when I came across those words, ''as a matter of fact''. Now normally I just shun that phrase because I find it to be a short sighted cover up of what in reality is not fact at all but just lazy thinking.

However in this case I paid a little more attention to it because while I was reading, as I often do, I had on Turner Classic Movies in the background. And just as I read those words they seemed to reverberate in my head because just as I was reading them Bogart was saying ''as a matter of fact''.

I haven't really felt malevolent vibes from this community.

I do invest myself emotionally in some topics, and that energy spills over offline. I've been a part of other forums, so that side of things isn't as unexpected.

I have heard ideas and comments when listening to Coast to Coast that evoke posts I've read here. I figure they may be members or someone who lurks. ATS is a wonderful resource for sharing and comparing lines of thought with others who share similar interests.

I was doing a dig on water companies in California and came across a company that was linked with oil companies. I probes deeper into the website and started reading the board meeting minutes. I was searching names and companies mention in the meetings. I was honing in on one particular person. At the time I was active on ATS. I was debating on making a thread but my connection and theory was way out there and I need more info.

I was doing this research on my IPad. The weekend hit and I took a break, then went back to start digging again. I opened and logged on to ATS to check up on on events. I opened up the site I was looking through. The Internet glitched and the browser shut down, It shut down frequently as I was in that site. One time it went black like it shut down. It then cam back came back on to the home screen. I reopen the browser and all my search history was gone. I tried to remember the search that lead me to that site but when I did the browser would either shut down or just stall. It glitched black one more time, After that I just put It down and walked a way.

I’m ADD, so any specifics that I leaned from my research are gone. I’m horrible with remembering details like names and websites addresses. I have since learned to screen grab stuff that is I think is important.

FBI folder from Tree:
Not too long after that I found a bright neon yellow folder was hanging from my apricot tree. No other houses in the area had one. It had a sticker that said do not remove, FBI is conducting test on fruit flies. It literally was a file folder paper clipped together hanging from my tree. It hung up there for a while.

Again I’m horrible with details so I’m not sure on this time line.

Homeland Security:
Then, I would say a few months after the folder from the tree. I got a visit from two Homeland Security agents.
My wife answers the door it was two ladies, they shows us their badges. Said they were doing some reference checks. Apparently the neighbor had applied for a job with them. They shows us a picture of the guy and asked if we had any encounters with them. We had moved in that year so we didn’t have any encounters of significance.

Again my timelines may be off but, I know for a fact that my search history was deleted not by me.
Strange folder from the FBI hung from my tree for a period of time.
And I was visited by Homeland Security.

Prior to this chain of events I was very active on ATS, researching info on earthquake, aquifers and Oil. If you know me at all I’m all over the map with my postings. So it’s hard to say if I was over any target, which target I was over.

I’m skeptical of my own skepticism so I lean towards just glitches and coincidences...(to keep me sane) But if you tinfoil hat it, I’m due for an abduction soon.

So yes some weird stuff happens from time to time.

I did stay away from ATS for quite some time after that.

I came back with a WTF attitude. come and get me, there are no boogie men.
