The China National Space Administration, definitely has military applications (much in the same way NASA or Roscosmos), but isn't exclusively a branch of the Chinese military.

International cooperation is pretty standard with space exploration initiatives.

Probably why trump created space force. The chinese version was probably known to intelligence but was classified info so trump couldnt say he was creating ours to counter it. He just did and everyone hated on him for. Thats why u cant hate on some decisions he makes. He makes them because of ckassified info he knows and cant tell u why.
