Happy new year ATS family!
I have a question for the internet and music gurus out there: how do I find the name of a song (it has no lyrics) and if is copyrighted or not? I
tried Shazam, SoundHound, some other online music recognition sites, nothing. Only one site gave the name of an arabic artist and video, but when I
checked it out turns out the artist took only a small fragment of this song to compile a mix of his own. And this is most obviously NOT arabic music.
By the sound of it is more like asiatic, China or something similar. Sounds a lot like the music from the movie Kung Fu Panda but it's obviously not
from there or Shazam would have recognized it. I have it for more than 3 years on my PC, found it on a random art website and was struck by how good
it is. Shortly after that the artist removed it, I guess copyrighting issues. The artist was chinese.
The point is I adore this song and I would love to use in a short animation but I don't want to put a ton of work in it just to discover afterwards
that is copyrighted and be taken down. And in my opinion it's too good to be public domain.
I uploaded it on Soundcloud if you want to listen to it and I called it
Unknown
Symphony
So please, please help me find this song, is driving me crazy!
