What i dont understand is, why is everyone acting that with January 2021 all our problems will be over? the news and tv and papers all say, "good riddance to 2020" As if 2021 is going to be better?
Its simple logic that once the ball is rolling, it keeps rolling. I think i would put money that 2021 will be much worse.

Unless ALL of the worlds problems were started by the Democrats, then that would be the only reason things get good if Biden gets in. Meaning it was all orchestrated by them, and when they are back in power, they will stop the problems they started.
I find it comical people think its all blue skies ahead. Honestly im just as hopeful for the future, but we got to face the facts of life.

I've been saying this too.
Not sure what magic switch is getting flipped tonight.
I expect more of the same.

As a fellow time traveler I can attest to your statement.

It'll certainly get off to a rocky start, but I have a feeling that almost everything will be back to normal by next fall

2020 sucked balls. 2021 hasn't happened yet. So there is hope. And also a chance everyone will do the math and realize that the Covid thing was a bit overblown. Should that happen, even the really stupid folk might realize that lockdowns aren't a smart move. Time will tell.

That's exactly how it will work! That's been the plan all along! Then they can claim progress without having to lift a finger. This whole mess has been orchestrated for exactly this purpose! It's like holding someone's head underwater until they just about drown, and then letting them up for air and asking them if things have improved (now that they're not drowning).

The plans started 4 years ago. Their mantra? There can never be another republican administration in this country...EVER. Because next time they might actually REALLY drain the swamp! They got way too close this time, and it can't be allowed to happen again. Not EVER!

They'll never admit it though, and their co-conspirators the media will back them up 100% of the way!

Does your waterline run around your house clockwise, or counterclockwise? And, do you always leave a light turned on in your house? You should, you know.

J/k...my very wealthy Chinese landlady in Malaysia was totally into the whole Feng Shui thing, and superstitious about everything! She even demanded the management change my assigned parking place in the garage because she absolutely refused to have someone living in her property if their assigned parking place had a "4" in it! Mine had (2) "4"s in it (414). Oh man, she almost came uncorked! Did you know that a 100 story building really only has 81 floors in Asia? Yep, all the floors with a "4" in them have been omitted.

All I know is that tomorrow I’m having pork, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes...I don’t care for black eyed peas, so probably corn or regular peas. Got an apple pie and cherry pie too.

After that, some think things will be bad along about three weeks in. Others say give it a couple weeks after that to get worse...but I say those will be the good old days once the gears really get grinding with all the sand pounded into the gearbox.

2020 was a pretty good year.

Anyone getting bent over the table just didn't go into it with realistic expectations.

There are too many humans, and nobody thought to stop and think about the repercussions of giving a private bank full control over the biggest economy on the planet.
If you had a bad year, the rest of your life is down hill from here.

Buckle up, buckaroo

The number 4 means death, it is very similar to our superstitions regarding the number 13 but much much worse.

Yep! The building I lived in didn't have a 4th floor. And skyscrapers in downtown KL would only have buttons for floors without a 4 in them, so no 4th, 14th, 24th, etc. On the 39th floor the next floor available in the elevator would be the 50th floor and so on.

ETA - Many Chinese were so superstitious they wouldn't even live on the 5th floor because they knew it was really the 4th floor just renamed to the 5th. Real estate on the 5th floor of buildings was really hard to sell, and was mostly purchased by foreigners. It usually sold at a much lower price, and was the last to sell.

2021 will be a year of

" Who is getting the Vaccine ? "

" Why you should get the vaccine ."

" We will lock your bank account if you don't get the vaccine . "

I think we may very will see the rise of a Federal Police force in 2021 , also the Military will be stripped as it always is via the Left.

If the Right holds a Senate Majority we may see some Joe Biden Criminal investigations , if they don't hold the Majority then crickets.

The big difference, for me, between 2020 and 2021 is that I was blindsided.

Even though when I got the text message from my job telling me that the State was being placed on lock down for fourteen days, and that we were waiting for instructions on how to handle any call outs we might get to the local hospitals, I knew that something was amiss.

I called my boss and I told her that things were not going to play out the way it was stated in the memo, and told her how it was more likely to play out. She thought I was crazy at the time, but now thinks that I was given information she did not have.

Even with suspicion and doubt, I still did not see it all. I am not saying I will see all that 2021 will bring with her, but I will not be blindsided, the way I was with 2020.

Heck, I think that particular feeling started when the media started proclaiming that Biden won the election. Every single one of my liberal/progressive acquaintances the very next day started acting like some huge weight was lifted off of their shoulders.

I'm waiting for reality to hit them in 2021.
