How come? Is the world ending? If it is, then he won't have to pay off the rest of the loan.
Read the small print.
This is a bad time for people to be getting in debt at some point it may cost you a 100$ for some bread.
Dealers are a huge waste of money.

If that's a "Blazer", I'm a reptilian lizard!!
I used to collect, build and restore true Blazers and Jimmy's. My last one was a '76 GMC Jimmy which I put an 800 hp Corvette LT-1 4-bolt mains, 750 cfm Holley double-pumper carb, Crane racing cam, Black Jack headers and a 2-1/2" exhaust. It wasn't stock, but it would leap off the ground about 3" vertically, from a standing start, to the point you could see daylight under all four tires! When it hit the ground, all fours were burning down the house, and when it hooked up there wasn't much which could beat it in 1,250 feet. The bracket pro boys could beat me easy, but the street boys didn't have a chance flat out.
Man, I loved that Blazer/Jimmy! That was my meanest build, but I had a couple others I built as just slow wheelers, and they were every bit as much fun.
Sorry, but that doesn't look like a "Blazer" to me...it looks like a SUV hybrid. (honestly, sorry)

Why are you paying $40k for a new Subaru? :
www.autotrader.com...
The "Premium" trim line is the sweet spot for an Outback. They hold their value well, are easy & cheap to maintain and are a good deal if you shop around. Also... try to put some cash down if you can to get your monthly payment down.
