Sorry to disrupt the fear porn, reality-tv show soap opera world that some people enjoy laarping around in, but covid19 is just a brand name for the common corona virus and the tests are absolute garbage. Just a brand name to promote fear. used to be ISIS, sometimes school shootings, but now it's a global pandemic. Anyways, it's just overblown fear with a hidden agenda behind it.

If you know this already and just enjoy laarping along with the immersive performance, then you should know that some people are too gullible and might not realize that you're just kidding.

And if you are one of the gullible ones, then please WAKE UP!

My guy,

Chill. Maybe take some aspirin. I’m gonna tell you a story, so listen carefully. All that I’m about to say, is 100% truth. Ready? K. COVID is real. And it can be nasty.

I’m a healthy, fit, educated 39-year-old male. I started showing symptoms at the beginning of this month and I still have lingering symptoms. Some days I felt like I was hit in the head with a lead pipe, and I don’t exaggerate that. Other days it felt like I was going to suffocate. The fatigue...that’s the most annoying part. Always being so tired, that it feels like your living everyday in the moment right before you fall asleep.

I worked in the healthcare industry for 15 years and many of my friends still do. Some of the stories I’ve heard, like people being forced to watch their loved ones die through Skype...it’s not pleasant. A friend of mines Dad just got admitted to the Cleveland Clinic because his oxygen saturation was down to 86%. He can’t leave bed because a rush of fatigue overwhelms him with the slightest exertion.

336,000 Americans alone have died from COVID. Now, how many of them died “with” COVID vs “from” COVID, that’s certainly up for debate. This isn’t the common cold. This isn’t just a bad flu. It is its own thing that requires a better effort from our leaders to overcome. It needs a better perspective from fine citizens such as yourself within society for us to get through this.

I don’t believe we needed to shutdown and wearing masks is more of a way for us to feel better than avoid the spread. But, we can all do better nonetheless. And we can do it intelligently and without freaking out on each other.

I'm willing to bet that not only was this story conceived months ago, but the article itself was probably written back in June or so as a template with names filled in later.

And the next manufactured talking point will be : "this one is much deadlier for young folks!"

....be smarter than those who wish to control you...

Would that also be a "natural" mutation of a lab virus or a controlled release of the kung-flu 21?

The first case of UK COVID-19 mutation found in US was about to post LOL. It's the UK strain an I agree it's here and containing it will be unsuccessful. Of course, the UK is freaking out as it does seem to be more contagious rumors of their hospitals being overwhelmed but deaths aren't matching the spike.

Will add this caveat
UK Summary
The latest R number is estimated at 1.1 to 1.3 with a daily infection growth rate range of +1% to +6% as of 24 December 2020.

1.1 to 1.3 is where most of the US is already

The contagious new COVID-19 mutation from the UK has officially made it to the United States, Colorado health officials said Tuesday.

The COVID-19 variant that UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has warned could be 70 percent more transmissible was identified in an Elbert County man in his 20s, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said in a statement.

“There is a lot we don’t know about this new COVID-19 variant, but scientists in the United Kingdom are warning the world that it is significantly more contagious,” Polis said in a statement posted on Twitter.

Rumours of hospitals being overwhelmed?

From the Guardian...

It's more than a rumour.

ETA- Surely it would be impossible for a Colorado resident who doesn't travel to get the new UK strain? Unless Covid-19 is mutating the same way everywhere?

All kidding aside, and someone's probably already said this, but this is good news.

Viruses attenuate.

They change, they mutate.

They become less lethal, more infective, because they want to "live" and killing the host is bad for survival.

I can see you used quotations on the word live, but technically a virus doesn't want anything, science considers a virus non-living. It's considered natural selection that allows the less lethal strains to survive and the more lethal ones to drop out.

On the other hand, I like thinking that a virus lives and has a desire to survive and reproduce into a new strain that will eventually become a symbiotic part of the host. Perhaps viruses are the most simple expression of nature's drive for biological reproduction and the evolution process. What you are stating is more like nature's will and not that of a virus, a part of a virus's natural mechanics. But ascribing will power to a virus is an interesting thought exercise none the less.

Just like the first version too little too late followed by too much too late followed by lockdowns for too long. And just in time for the inauguration! Who'da thunk it.

If President Biden's steal is successful, we will all be locked down tight for a full year.

Darkest gloomiest days are ahead of us, will be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Quite right......and isnt the timing just a bit suspicious?
I honestly dont understand it at this point......what is their goal? Trump is done. So the plan is to finally and fully push the US into the next great economic Depression?

We had 5 cases as of a day ago in Canada, brought in by travellers from the UK

That's a venti soymilk with a splash of organic Darjeeling.
DB drinks it from his mason jar while admiring his beard glitter.

My late father in law was at that nursing home several years ago. It's hard for me to believe, as far out in the sticks as that place is that this new version would show up there.

Yep. Rumors are already swirling everywhere. I have read (no links at the moment) that the new strain is not as deadly but more contagious maybe (like you stated) and that health officials are saying that the new vaccine should work for this strain as well (not sure how that works since it's a NEW strain.)

Get ready for a sh!#ton of over reacting regardless.
So like other covid virus or the common cold easy to spread and not very dangerous? But PANIC!!!

I'm skeptical of the claim. Why should I believe men who have been so wrong for so long?

Sounds like more propaganda to me.

You'd be a fool to believe anything they say. Unless you can verify it.
