You won't have any of those issues with B&H. You can talk to a live person, even the same person, from purchase to purchase. They make deals. No
questions asked return policy (for the most part). Their customer service is pretty awesome. They really made their name with it.
How I first got to know them was when I was over in Asia we had a guy who was a fantastic large format B&W photographer, and he took magnificent
shots. Did all his developing and printing. He always needed all these exotic supplies, none of which you could find in Malaysia where we were. So,
every time I'd come back stateside he'd give me a big list of all this stuff he needed me to bring back (because B&H doesn't ship overseas). I'd only
be home for a few days, but I'd order from them and they'd have it to me before I left. I even got to know the guys. These guys must have thought I
was a hell of a photographer because some of the stuff I was ordering were items most people, even hard-core photographers, had never even heard of.
B&H was like the only place in the world you could get some of that stuff, and they always had it in stock too.
More than just a few times I had some explaining to do to Customs agents about what some of this stuff was, and some of I had no idea! One guy was
gonna' taste some of the stuff like it was heroin or something (it sure looked like it, but it stunk to high heaven). I told him to go right ahead if
that's what he wanted to do. He opted not to which was probably smart.
Anyway, B&H has been my go to for camera stuff ever since. Plus, they'll match pricing on about anything, so the prices are always good.
