I would think if he left something behind like a suicide note, law enforcement would have found it and said something by now. If he left something behind on social media, it certainly would have been all over the news before now.

I would imagine the feds are questioning his family and friends/neighbors/workmates/ looking for a link to a right or left connection.
I wonder how they will spin the info they find.

Mental's don't often work like that. The first thing they do is kill the dog (child, loved one, etc); then they're so despondent they don't feel bad about doing what they set out to do to begin with. In their twisted mind, in the moment, it seems like everything they planned is okay.
