Ask the government why it constantly spends money it doesn't has printing what it needs which devalues the dollar and helps create that inflation you decry.

Government needs to learn to live within its means, but since we can't cut them off because they own us through the mechanism of the law, they simply spend on.

*Sigh*

Too true, too true.

Another thing was in the 1950s people were content with less, didn't binge-buy on credit, and actually saved money for the future. Moreover there were 152 million Americans in 1950 versus 331 million today.

Different country. In fact 1950 America, with its manufacturing base, thrifty saving-oriented ethos, low obesity levels, and strong traditional family-centered belief system sounds almost like an Asian country today.

Dang! Komo4 does a good job painting my town as a complete #hole, which it really is.

Judge McKenna spells it out better than anyone else, the more he actually tried to do his job the more they just went around him. Our city council is a bunch of crazy whackjobs, who this program shows have flipped back and forth on the subject of police to appease their handlers.

They point out that its NOT for a lack of money, all you have to do is look at all the serious development going on in a city that is effectively shut down, goin out of business, and occupied by tons of addicts and useless idiots and almost no law or law enforcement thanks to that useless city council!

I have lived almost my entire life here, and it's really hard to live in a slow motion trainwreck now.

It's almost as if the people thinking this is going well have never listened to a single addict who has managed to get their life straight!!!!!

The other issue too is that an unintended consequence of feminism was increasing the supply of workers. All the women who entered into the work force drove down wages.... while at the same time creating a situation where you need daycare because both parents are out of the home working.

So you get the following:

Inflation (Cost of living) raising prices due to increased debt and removal of gold standard.

Wages going down due to globalism and feminims increasing supply of workers.

Both parents needing to work

Syndicalism. It's a variant of socialism based on cooperatives run by the workers through unions. Depending on the exact system, the unions could also serve as the basis for the government, but the important part is that the means of production are controlled by the workers.

Yeah compassion will make ppl stop doing dope and living trash lives. roflmao.

Imagine a person suffering the hells of addiction or even mental illness and reading this forum...

Who's viewpoints are more inspirational?

When you inspire people it motivates them to live better lives and that takes compassion not persecution.

Drug addicts, school shooters and the homeless are all somebody's family, all someone's neighbors.

WE ALL are responsible for letting them fall through the cracks of society, apathy will only cause their numbers to grow because people who don't have anything going for them are going to find a way to cope. You perpetuate the cycle with your apathy.

I'd heed the words of a reformed person over one that followed the straight and narrow their entire life because the reformer has a broader life experience.

Why are the drug czars of this country usually cops and prosecutors? Sick people don't get better in prison.

We have a habit of throwing away the undesirables of this nation and that causes blowback.

The fact is that the war on drugs is still ongoing and the ones who are doing the drugs are winning it!

It's funny, if you watch the OP's videos two of the most persuasive and lucid calls for law, order, and sanity in Seattle come from two profiled former homeless addicts. They lived the consequences of their horrific lives yet found the strength to make the conscious decision to change themselves for the better. Both believe the "compassion" of the current city officials is killing Seattle.

You blame the problem on a thing, that's pretty obvious. In your mind blame should not be leveled on the person.

Typical democrat...blame something, or someone, else!

You are right that "we all" are responsible for allowing this situation to exist, but you are categorically WRONG if you think "we all" are responsible for extracting these people from this situation UNLESS they are equally committed to extracting themselves!! And, they aren't!

And do you know why???? Because they have zero accountability for their actions.

Your name here says it all.

Enjoy your mushrooms!

Your video talks about various situations involving the alledgedly compassionate response of the city of Seattle to drug addiction and homelessness.

Are you saying you're against a compassionate approach? If so, why? And how would you act differently?

Doubting you'll answer those questions, I'll just go ahead and point out that this is from KOMO News, which is a part of the SInclair network, a vital part of the corporate media machine.

This is a part of the media that promotes the message of the global elite..

Yes. I am against the “compassionate approach”.

Because I’m against doing things that are proven to not work very effectively at all.

On the flip side, it appears you’re a fan of enabling undesirable behavior for a stable society.

But you won’t respond to that either, right?

Interesting. Thanks for a cogent response.

THe problem I see with installing a leader that people will follow is the establishment of great or small cults-of-personality.

The classic Republican party had the right idea in many ways, I think, with focusing on personal responsibility, a good economy where everyone who was able could have a decent job that allowed them to buy houses, cars, establish families, etc.

Teach them to fish, giving them fish is not the long-term answer.

Yet on this, we agree.

I started watching this a few days ago.
What a shame.
American cities, and the people elected to run these cities, have lost their minds.
You can't blame the Republicans for these messes, it's all the democrats fault. They have controlled most large cities for over 50+ years.
