I am shocked to see whats become of Seattle. I was there a few years ago and yeah there were a few grungy looking homeless people but this problem is on another level.

I think the problem is not just economical but its a 'spiritual' problem imo - the hopelessness and reckless abandon.

On top of that I really think all these conditions were planned out by the Globalists. This is exactly what they want. It was probably a lot of hard work on their part.

Your video talks about various situations involving the alledgedly compassionate response of the city of Seattle to drug addiction and homelessness.

Are you saying you're against a compassionate approach? If so, why? And how would you act differently?

Doubting you'll answer those questions, I'll just go ahead and point out that this is from KOMO News, which is a part of the SInclair network, a vital part of the corporate media machine.

This is a part of the media that promotes the message of the global elite..

When the civic leadership bowes down to anarchy, not only is the what you get, it’s what you deserve.

Thank you for not perpetuating the faux concern for drug addition and homelessness. I think you're very correct that arnarchy is not effective in large, dense populations. What would you suggest to deal with the issues?

To start with, Give the people an example to follow. A leader must be capable or get out of the way. No standing around wringing their hands.
Then enforce the laws that are on the books, the laws that the people legislated for. No short cuts, no taking the easy way out, no Bull Sh!t. The law must be enforced equally to everyone.

Interesting. Thanks for a cogent response.

THe problem I see with installing a leader that people will follow is the establishment of great or small cults-of-personality.

The classic Republican party had the right idea in many ways, I think, with focusing on personal responsibility, a good economy where everyone who was able could have a decent job that allowed them to buy houses, cars, establish families, etc.

Teach them to fish, giving them fish is not the long-term answer.

Round 'em up, by the thousands. Load them on cargo ships and send them to Bangladesh. There, they won't eat unless they're productive. They're certainly not, in any way, productive elements of society in Seattle or anywhere else.

Do that a few times, in a few cities like Seattle, San Francisco, LA, etc. and the message will get out. "YOU are accountable for YOU! YOU will be held accountable for YOUR actions!"

This isn't a drug problem. This isn't a homelessness problem. Those are just excuses. This IS a personal accountability problem. Period.

Cut power, water and Cell signals to an area like this. No voice, no water and no power tends to resolve the issue rather than using the military or police. Use them to ring the area.

Politicians were too afraid to do anything because of the recent black vs. police conflicts and press. Politicians are afraid of the counter culture.

I do not condone mob rule. If I say use the military, someone will quickly jump on me for even mentioning it. If I say use the police they will again jump to police brutality as a defense.

This nation is so polarized against itself it’s just not worth talking about anymore. I hate listening to democrats as much as they hate listening to me. There is no middle ground. We cannot agree.

In the end, naked force will settle it. Like it always does. Fear of death is the best motivator of all. Right next to fear of being wrong.

Don't worry. Seattle will be federally bailed out just like NYC and California...after Dems get those two Senate seats in GA.

I watched the video right up to the point where the guy started saying this is 100% caused by illegal drugs. I shut it off right at that instant. That's complete bullsh##, propaganda and political doublespeak! That's an EXCUSE! Classic political BS!

Until PEOPLE are held accountable for their OWN actions, drugs or no drugs, nothing will change. Nothing.

And the slimy political douche-minstrels for politicians KNOW this! It's their shield from being held accountable themselves!

Guess what, fixing things is hard. Get up off your fat corrupt asses, politicians, and DO something about it!

I agree about our desperate need for personal responsibilty and initiative in America.

The suggestion to deport Americans from cities is unconstitutional not to mention autocratic, callous, absurd, and meaningless.

In the same way you should never enable your child in their addictions and poor behavior, you should never enable adults for the same behavior. True compassion is doing what is best for a person, not what is best for your ego and your feelings. Poor choices need consequences or nothing is learned.

If people genuinely want to help themselves and change their ways, they will naturally find themselves in situations where they will be helped -- friends, family, churches, etc. If they just want to manipulate and continue their poor choices, then they should not be helped.

The civic duty of the government is not enable poor choices, but protect lives and environments of those who want to make good choices.

So, you're advocating for anarchy, just anarchy that fits better with your own beliefs?

No. If we abandon our Constittuion and rule of law to oppose those who have either intentionally or incompetently managed Seattle's response to her considerable issues, we are treading underfoot everything that has made America great.

There's a problem with this approach. I used to advocate the creation of an 'exclusion zone' of sorts also (i.e. nothing gets in and nobody gets out), but it won't work. And, the reason it won't work is because of the corrupt media. They feed on stuff like that. It's their life blood. They'd be all over it, and it would be all you'd see on the MSM.

Nope, they have to vanish where the media can't, or won't, get to them.

I'm all for autocratic and callous when it comes to the personal accountability issue! All for it! It is not absurd or meaningless in the least!

Obey the rules, or pay the consequences!

That is the foundation of the Constitution. Don't EVEN try to tell me the Constitution supports lawlessness, anarchy, murder, rape, drug abuse and laziness.

ETA - I have exactly zero sympathy for lack of personal accountability and responsibility.

On an individual basis, I agree with you. The trick is knowing when you are helping or harming another person.

At the municipal level, here's the issue I see. There are many complex reasons why we have encouraged the drug production and distribution in this country by misguided efforts like the "War on Drugs."

What is needed, and I speak generally here, is a transition plan from where we are to where we decide we want to be as a society. Any government, local, State or Federal should be used as sparingly as possible, with that I certainly agree.

Yeah, I get that about your beliefs.

You're an authoritarian.

It is not the foundation of the Constitution.

The foundation of the Constitution is the RESTRICTION of government power, our system is designed to diffuse the power of all levels of government for good reason.

Not altogether unlike the essence of yours. I absolutely agree that the Seattle government should stop placating anarchy.

It's not the place of the government to attempt to undo the results of individual choices.

The basic unit of any sort of society is the individual. An individual must contribute to the overall productiveness of society if they are able.

The tasks facing any sort of government in densely populated urban centers are far more complicated than the suburbs or rural areas of the country.

If an individual ultimately cannot or will not make the minimum effort to take care of themselves and contribute to society, there's really not any good option, in my opinion. Government exists to maintain security and an infrastructure that allows for productivity.

Let's start by severely reducing the degree to which government interferes either for the good or the bad in people's lives.

Okay, and what do you propose to do with those who refuse to become a productive part of society?

I mean, this is really where the rubber meets the road on the issue, right?

I just cut right to the core of the issue first (which is, admittedly, my nature), I just wanted to dispense with the rhetoric right up front. Forget the method, it was about the underlying point (i.e. they have to be removed from society, if they refuse to be a productive part of the same). Doesn't really matter whether it's Bangladesh, the stockade or Mars.
