the apologizers can talk now, but at the end of the year, there will be facts. A number of people will die from all kinds of things. And that number will be known. Then we will look at previous years. And unless there is a massive spike in total deaths, this will have been exposed at the garbage that it is.

Not familiar with US statistics but in the UK the numbers can be seen in weekly reported deaths which already show a significant increase.

Excellent question.

No answers will be forthcoming though...

Masks reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

Keeping distance reduces the risk of spreading the virus.

Lockdowns reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

Doing all 3 will reduce the risk more.

Yep, but people don’t do anything consistently. I’ve heard people whining about being “locked down” for months, yet they’re going out all over the place. No one is just staying put, people are not handling the masks as if they’re really ppe with possible biological crap on them. People say the can’t understand why the precautions don’t work, but they’re not doing the precautions properly

Look at the rest of the world. Compare how they are doing with the virus to the U.S. We are the WORST on the planet despite being the most affluent and with the most advanced healthcare. Look at the measures taken in the countries that are faring best: strict, hard lock-downs, universal mask mandates, sophisticated contact tracing, and serious repercussions for noncompliance. You deniers are ignorant and complicit. If we had ALL done what we were asked from the get-go we wouldn't be where we are today. Our 'leaders' screwed us and continue to do so. Why do you think they are SO insistent on getting liability waivers for businesses? Ass covering.

you should move to one of those countries. This one isn't working out for you.

No, the upshot of the huge data manipulation for the last 10 months is that far more people have been infected and survived, and far fewer have died FROM the virus.

OK, I did look. And the US is ninth in deaths per capita....behind the UK, Spain, Italy and Belgium among others.

So how are we the WORST again?

I agree which is why we should use the death statistics showing a marked inverse in mortality rates and not people 'feelz' about the Virus being nothing more than a cold.

this is typical for how things have gotten to date. And OP explaining how gun shot fatalities, are being counted as Covid deaths, and we still have folks trying to gaslight that fact away.

As if this nugget of news could destroy the entire narrative if it's not shut down immediately. It's really sad to see.

I did man...I live in the UK. Stalin, I mean Johnson is fixing to lock us down for 6 weeks after xmas. I hope it collapses the pound and the economy for being a dumbass.

What these fools dont understand is its like those stupid terrorist threat levels after 9/11...they can only be in place for a specific period of time before peeps become complacent.

if you are going to spout "facts" bringing data to back up your "facts" would be the proper way to do business. Otherwise it's just a bit heavy on the "feelz" aspect. dig?

No people are pointing out that even if a small number of deaths are include in error that doesn't change the overwhelming evidence of the seriousness of the virus.

so the plan is to hide from it for a couple months and then see if the virus that's been here for over a year is still here?
I keep going back to the Kiwi things. On an island, a remote one, they locked down and emerged with no covid. Until that one guy showed up. Then it was back on. Rather than lock down, why not just keep that one guy out?

We are told that every year, between 2,000 and 8,000 Canadians die of the flu and its complications. This CBC article goes against the narrative and explains the various manipulating computer models. What I don't understand is why CBC allowed this article to be published as they are our Government pravda media. Are they trying to explain the lack of flu deaths this season as there never were many? But every season the media fed us doom porn "Get your flu shot"

Flu deaths reality check

The "2,000 to 8,000" numbers are based on computer models — a statistical guess that comes out of the end of a mathematical formula that makes a range of assumptions about death and flu.

Another model assumes that every extra death that happens in the winter is a flu death. At the risk of oversimplifying, this is the basic formula of that model: winter deaths (minus) summer deaths = death by flu virus.

That includes winter deaths from slippery sidewalks, snowy roads, freezing temperatures, plus all the winter heart failure, lung failure and deaths from cancer. In the language of the computer model, all excess mortality in winter is considered "death by flu."

So are we suppose to listen and believe authorities regarding Covid deaths but not flu deaths? What gives?

and as I said, at the end of the year we will have a total number of people who died from any cause, and that number can be looked at with respect to previous years and population growth. It will either show a massive spike, or not. The Truth can't hide here. And until we see data, we have nothing but mental masturbation.

Peeps lost their minds with scaremongering. I've been saying that for ages. It's like throwing water on a brush fire and walking away for six weeks thinking you put it out.

Its gonna be here like the cold. Peeps just gonna have to live with it.
