I love the countdown to the annual peep inside my stocking.

This year, I really hope there's a juicy big orange in there.

I have a building out back that's stacked to the rafters with tools....and a spare bedroom.....and 2 closets full of my Japanese planes, chisels and saws that DO NOT get stored outside. Same with sockets, ratchets, jack stands, floor jacks and everything else I need to work on our cars and trucks.
I know I'm breaking some kinda "man code" but Dear Lord, I don't need any more tools.
I have to admit though, sometimes it's irresistible. Not long ago there was a sale on 20 volt brushless Dewalt cordless drills with 2 batteries/charger and even though I already have a Makita and Milwaukee .....I bought it.

A new lawn mower? Got 2.
Weedeater ? Got 3.
New boots ? Just got a new pair for my birthday in September. [ Ariat ]
New hat ? HEY !! Leave my Stetson outta this!
I love a good cigar, so maybe a box of my favorites ? Both humidors are full. Wouldn't know where to put'em.

Know what I really want ? I haven't seen my Mom in a while because we were in quarantine and I've been pretty busy at work. My Dad died about 16 years ago and since then I have tried hard to make the trip every time I can, but Mom is 78 and when I can't, the thought of her being alone and lonely breaks my heart.
Go get Mom and bring her up for Christmas. I want to have dinner with my friends and family and watch the little kid's eyes light up when they open their gifts. I want my [ soon to be ] Mother in law's homemade yeast rolls. Her Dad makes a wicked deep fried turkey.

I want Peace, Joy, Prosperity and Happiness for us all. Yes, we may be political rivals, but I truly wish the best for you and your loved ones.

Tell Mom to wait in the alley by the dumpster just after sundown. Drive in, and Mom-nap her!

How about some sort of model train set? Woodwork the table, maybe something the grandkids might get a kick out of.

What I wanted was to be with family, but one Great Niece has covid and another is in quarentine because a classmate has it.
What I want for Christmas is my Husband's health to stabalize without any more operations and worries for a while.

There isn't much I don't have, collecting guns and tools since before I was a teen, radios have been around until they don't work anymore - stuck 'em in the pile to be fixed one day. My dogs love me - at least they lick me a lot, or its my diabetes, maybe. In my farm shop I've got my tools, some brands are not around anymore so if I break them, no replacement.

I love to give, one of my charitable contributions is "Toys for Tots". Its anonymous and I like to imagine the smiles from children on Christmas. I enjoy helping others that truly need it.

I basically need nor want for anything. My wife used to say I celebrated Christmas every day of the year when she would see a new tool or fishing lure or something I would bring home from the store after work. Needless to say, my kids and grandkids are spoiled rotten. The best feeling I get is watching my 3 month grandson smile and grin at me as I talk to him (I probably do look funny to him, lol).

My biggest wish for this or any Christmas is for our military to be very safe and hopefully to come home. I also remember our first responders having to work during this and all holidays, keeping us safe and healthy.

70 years, doesn't seem like it, but I sure as hell feel it.

Seriously, to see my mother again, we have all lost those we love.

But in this earth.

Just as the good book say's peace on earth and good will to all mankind.

And end to tyranny, bloodshed, hatred, cruelty, human trafficking, corrupt politics, drug dealers ruining family's by destroying there kid's, the sex industry since it is frankly evil and built upon misery lust and greed, housing for the homeless, more job creation (government's building those houses would create at least short to medium term jobs by doing so), proper education for kid's - not propaganda designed to inspire hatred teaching hatred such as the SNP was recently caught out for doing in Scottish School's but truth not lies.

Love for our neighbours and a better tomorrow for the children whom will live it to unwrap as they move through there lifetimes.

And safety for our family's.

I could go on and on and on.

But realistically, already got mine some nice sock's.

Seriously, I spent literal years getting myself put back together and in shape so I could get back into athletics and have fun, and now I'm gasping away inside this stupid face diaper that changes all the breathing rules I learned to control the minor asthma and hurts my lungs.

I want the world to go back to normal.

I want the government to get out of my life.

I want everyone else to be happy for a change instead of mad at everything.

This year despite all the issues the pandemic brought...Also provided me with some of the best memories possible with friends old and new.
I have health , I have a life...Love..and a new car which I never thought I would ever have.
All I would ask for is to see my kids and grandkids. They live in a different province and travel is difficult obviously right now.
I'd give anything just to hug them. ❤

I would like a nice smoked fish to snack on. Also maybe a coupon for Bucks Restaurant or Red lobster for the wife and I to go in for a sit in fish dinner. The second option is not possible right now so I might have to go have a talk with the guy with the fat guy with the beard and red clothes to try to convince him he will not get covid by going those places and getting a gift certificate for me.....he is in the high risk group because he eats so many cookies, so I will not blame him for not delivering people what they want this year.

Christmas dinner with the family is what I cherish the most even though it is a pain to put together and clean up after.

All I want is for people to be Christ-like. Gather a crowd and inspire them to anarchism. Beat a politician with a whip. Help out your local sex worker. Preach equality.
