So do you think not observing covid safety rules is important?
If they weren't observing them on the actual set then the whole shooting could easily be shut down and then they would definitely not have any work.
Production on "Mission: Impossible 7" in Venice, Italy, was suspended for three weeks back in February due to virus concerns and surges in confirmed cases.
According to Variety, the film was once again recently forced to delay production for a week after people on set tested positive for COVID-19 in Italy.
"I wouldn’t have done it that big. I wouldn’t have, you know, pulled people out," added Clooney. "You’re in a position of power and it’s tricky, right? You do have a responsibility for everybody else and he’s absolutely right about that. And, you know, if the production goes down, a lot of people lose their jobs. People have to understand that and have to be responsible. It’s just not my style to take everybody to task that way."
"I think it doesn’t help necessarily to point to specific people in that way and do it that…but, you know, everybody has their own style. The people who were on that shoot will tell us more about it," Clooney pressed. "I understand why he did it. He’s not wrong at all about that. You know, I just, I don’t know that I would have done it quite that personally, but I don’t know all the circumstances so maybe he had it 10 or 15 times before."

Maybe they shouldn't be shooting after all.

Why do you want to know the future? I have seen it, so why would I need anybody to tell me what I already know. If you want to compare notes. Go ahead.
Or maybe its all bull#....Oh! Whatever dude. I only take people who can divination the future from chicken bones on the ground serious. They are at the least. Funny. And actually, more accurate in there predictions it seems.
You can read a hundred million books. And if all those hundred million books are all bull# and nonsense. Well then, all you have learned is a hundred million ways that lead to bull# and nowhere.

It's about money. The studios are losing money. Warner just put all their 2021 movies on streaming and the agents, directors, and actors are screaming
Sounds like a shrewd idea.
At $15 a month that's the equivalent of going to the movies once a month... who goes to the movies more than once a month? I go years with out going to the movie theater.

I'd have thought there would have been heavy scrutiny into that prior to the decision being made.
Five crew members of ‘Mission: Impossible 7’, an action spy film, have reportedly abandoned the project following another outburst by Tom Cruise, the lead actor in the upcoming movie. The American filmmaker had earlier slammed two members of the crew after they were spotted flouting COVID-19 protocols on set. According to The Sun UK, Cruise embarked on another rant on Tuesday night — a development which worsened the brewing controversies in the camp. A source told the media outlet that “several staff” have walked away since his second rant which happened after footage of his first outburst became public.
Im not sure what their problem is with the direct to stream, since most of Hollywood is down with free healthcare, free education, why not free entertainment? Maybe They need to go one step further and offer free hbo max.
Or why not just let government run the movie industry and then put caps on salary and profits, im sure those big a listers and directors would be for it.
One thing is for sure cruise appears to be teflon coated having survived all his crazy in public and all the scientology stuff.
