What does GOD stand for?

I've seen a lot of people talking about GOD, which seems to be somehow related to everything. I wonder if this a fault of our educatonal system.

So, what does GOD stand for? Is Gold, Oil, Diamonds, or Gold, Oil, Drugs, or Guns, Oil, Drugs? What is it? It gets so confusing on all of these threads what people are talking about.

An interesting take on GOD as a TLA (three letter acronym)

My choice would be "Good Old Dollar", as money seems to be some peoples "God"?? I think there's even something like that in the Bible - I'm sure someone will put me right on that.

It's amazing how people put such a negative conotation on Gods name, one assume this is due to how much respect people have for God, people have done in Gods name, or a plethora of other such reasons.

To be honest, I was going to say GOLD OIL DRUGS.

Are you by any chance referring to GOP? It is related to everything. Oil, terrorism, illegal activities.

Good question. I have often wondered this myself.

I think GOD stands for:

G= Father
O= Son
D= Holy Spirit

Each letter in God may be from the very first cosmic language or something. My definition is catholic oriented but it is interesting to see how other religions and older cultures have percieved God.
