As to the OP, that is what we call "Lying liars who lie." Grandma in the home can't have visitors because you'll kill her, you virus grim reaper. So we'll give her this shot for protection, but OOPS! She may die anyway, but we'll say it was from her age/health. Like everyone else tried to say would eventually happen with normal unimpeded living & visitation, but were called sociopaths for pointing out.
