As we approach what would have been Lemmy's 75 Birthday on the 24th and what will be the 5 anniversary of his death on the 28th my thoughts turn to the live album that became the soundtrack of my youth , as an existing Motorhead fan No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith was the gift that has stayed with me to this day and (for me) is still the best live album ever recorded.

In memory of Lemmy , Phil and Eddie.

Gone but never forgotten.

We're clearly in the same age group and while I can't say they really did it for me, there's no denying there were an amazing live act.

RIP Mr Kilminster

I was too young to see them but my brother who I shared a bedroom with saw them once or twice and they blew his mind. Loved the documentary on Lemmy which I think is on Netflix. I also enjoyed his association with Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters. Dave clearly loved him and was devastated by his loss.
