Ok. This isnt related to AZ,but remember election night when ABC reported they sent GA poll workers home for the night? COntradicts the story the GA SoS said, and supports the republicans who swore on penalty of law. Now who do we beleive? the 2 SoS flunkie/senator or the witnesses with ABC story backing them up?

If I understood what the election manager for that voting location stated, folks were sent home when their part of the task was completed. I don't watch ABC so I can't speak to what they said.

I find it very difficult to lend much credit to a Governor that has long suppported Trump as well as the Secretary of State that has done the same thing would lie about something they know intimately (Kemp was SoS before he was Governor) well.

The other poster is a lost cause. we should just ignore it like its sockpuppet, who mysteriously has stopped posting.

Its funny the Federalist has gotten the story and gotten it pretty spot on. It does look like the GA elected officials are lying about what went on.

Well, first of all, you'd have to prove the lie.

Can you?

So the machines and software have been audited?
All mail in votes had signature verified?
Way out of ordinary statistical anomalies all answered.

Nope

Is it not law that signatures of mail in votes be verified btw?

Seems there was a rush to certify before to many questions cropped up.

How about just letting folks get to the bottom of those issues rather than prevent and attacking those who disagree, I'm out here in west Georgia right now and can't find a soul who accepts this election at face value.

So again if your folks fervently believe this was a fair election - what harm in letting audits proceed - all that could happen accordingly is verification it was fair.

It ain't about cost as you have no care that when spent on pet causes.

I think there's fear something might be found that sticks is what I believe.

The signatures were verified as required by Georgia law: Source

The votes were counted, audited and recounted as required by Georgia law.

Also, I'm not the topic, not only are you mistaken as usual about my political beliefs, no one cares what you think about me.

I'm not afraid of anything regarding Trump being the next President. He will not be. He lost. Biden won.

Time to stop denying reality and deal with it.

Time to show the world how freedom works...again.

Well if you want to find out how freedom works, you best ask Canada, Australia, Germany and The U.K. as they are all ahead of The U.S. when it comes to " freedom "

Hope my advice helped.

Yes, you're free in Australia as long as you stay inside your house and you're free in the other countries as long as you have a mask on. Else you'll get choked out or locked up.

Why should anyone be opposed to a forensic audit of election results via dominion machines - unless something to hide?

Maybe Ware County type results being confirmed?

Why would any government spend more money to verify results they've already verified?

The matter is settled in AZ.

And Al Gore won the 2000 election then? hah

Then you have no problem with audits.

And no my responces are not about you in particular only those with massive set of blinders such as demonstrated.

See no matter which way SCOTUS rules there will be trouble that I'd like to think neither of us wants to see. But both know will probably occur from extremists both sides.

The only way out that situation occuring is,

Unquestionable independent audits to answer open questions about process for the right

Or

Criminal conviction of fraudsters with publicized confessions for the left to stand down.

SCOTUS is not where this will be solved to satisfaction both sides therefore peaceable civil way to prevent a hotter situation is to call for and let occur audits by independent means - stopping that sends us all onto a one way street with no turn-offs.

That's tea leaves as best I can fathom.

I think opposition to investigation in these unormal 2020 circumstances is foolhardy.

My opinion of audits doesn't matter.

Facts are facts. Laws are laws.

And, as always — there’s more to the story.

When the mandate is “mask or leave” — there is not a third choice.

So your source says

When a voter requests an absentee ballot on a paper application, he or she must sign it. Election officials compare that signature in voter registration files before a ballot is sent to the voter

Wasn't there a fundamental difference in this election in that an absentee ballot is NOT the same as a mail-in ballot?
an absentee ballot is requested - signed and verified current address
a mail-in ballot is not requested but sent out like a flyer to name at an unverified current addresses.

Therefore a ballot can and was received at addresses where the name on it is no longer a resident.

IF it is true, then what happens to those ballots?

No.

Mr. Trump was a) confused or b) being intentionally misleading when he made those statements.

In Georgia at least, absentee ballots are available to anyone upon request.

Absentee ballots and "mail in ballots" are the exact same thing.

The claims of unrequested absentee ballots have, at least from what I have read thus far, been anecdotal at best.

There have been a very few cases in which a family member requested a ballot, they died in the interim, and the surviving family members sent the ballot in for their relative. This is a handful of cases, however.

In Georgia, there are three parts to sending back in an absentee ballot. There is the ballot itself. This is filled out and placed into another envelope that is sealed, and that is placed inside another envelope with the oath and signature line on the back which must MATCH the signature on the request as well as the signature that is on file with the State.

When these are counted, the first step is to verify that signature on the outside of the envelope. When that is done (in every case) the identifying envelope is set aside because the ballot is to be a private vote.

Every signature on absentee/mail in ballots in Georgia is verified. The claims otherwise are lying.
