I really don't know about this. I know a retired Lt General gives it some credibility... but that just raises more questions.

How would a retired officer have this information? Is he not as "retired" as we thought? Is he working in another military/federal capacity? And if it is true, then why is he talking about it on his own time? Why is there no official statement to this effect? Is he speaking out of turn? Or is he speaking officially or with some authority? And, of course, is he telling the truth or is this some kind of Smith-Mundt propaganda? Or perhaps a canary trap? Or maybe this is intended to bluff/spook suspected guilty parties into some kind of admission or act of desperation?

I just don't know. I'm not convinced either way about this.

You're right. We won't ever know the whole truth. A lot of it will be locked up as a national security issue probably. All we can hope for is that the proper heads roll whether or not Trump serves another 4 years.

As was said earlier in the thread, it is not uncommon for retired officers to be called in as consultants among other things. It's not so unusual for him to know about it, but I do question why he is talking about it publicly.

The US military says this so called raid never happened, the company supposedly raided says it never happened AND that they have no servers in Germany, and these 7 deaths while extremely sad are officially labeled as due to a mechanical failure in part of Egypt...
